DJ KHALED LOOKALIKE UBER DRIVER HAS MASTERED ALL OF HIS CATCHPHRASES

Doppelgängers—people who have a striking resemblance to someone entirely unrelated to them—are an intriguing occurrence in the globe. It’s much more intriguing when both persons have the same voice. That’s what happened to an unwitting passenger in an Uber with a DJ Khaled impersonator.

TheShadeRoom shared footage of an Uber driver that looked just like DJ Khaled on their Instagram account on Saturday (July 11). The Uber passengers couldn’t stop laughing and couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw how much their driver resembled DJ Khaled. When the driver utilized Khaled’s catchphrases “another one” and “bless up king,” they were even more taken aback.

The driver’s likeness to DJ Khaled was so convincing that fans in TheShadeRoom’s comment section thought the Miami native had changed jobs. After witnessing his friend’s lookalike, Rick Ross shared a chuckle in the comments.

“Dam I really thought that was him,” wrote one person.

According to another fan,“How much y’all wanna bet DJ Khaled is about to find this man and put him in his next video.”

While DJ Khaled was mistaken for an Uber driver in the music video for Bas’ new single “The Jackie,” starring the Dreamville leader and Lil Tjay, J. Cole portrayed one in the music video for Bas’ new single “The Jackie.”

Cole picks up Bas and his wife as an Uber driver in a car loaded with sweets, beverages, and other goodies in the John Tashiro-directed clip.

Diverse – B.B.Benson

New single from West Coast artist Diverse is sure to get listeners amped

HAYWARD, CA – A new single from West Coast artist Diverse is bouncy and aggressive and fun –the perfect summer song for a year in which people are longing to have a good time. The feel-good vibes of “B.B. Benson” perfectly present this young up-and-coming artist to the world in ways that unabashedly show off his ability to deliver smooth flows with confident lyrics underneath an energy that is infectious. This song is guaranteed to get listeners amped.

“When I’ve got something to say, I gotta let it go and let it flow,” Diverse said. “It took me 40 minutes to make this song because it just came out so easy. Me and my boy were in the studio working and after we finished a track we’d been working on for a while he asked if I wanted to make another one. I said sure, and he played me a beat that was super energetic. For some reason, it made me want to whisper which I do at the beginning of the song, and then I come on strong. I’m like water – I can adapt to anything and any beat and I’ll make it my own, and this song is a perfect example of that. Last year, I was doing more melodic and Post Mallone type songs, and this year I’m coming with the hot energetic tracks. I like big-ass crowds and mosh pits and that kind of stuff, and this song is perfect for that kind of energy.”

Diverse first got his start in music at age 12 when he would watch his dad make beats in his studio. By high school, he had learned enough to start creating his own music and when friends and classmates started hearing his creations, they clamored for more. After graduating from high school, he and a friend would spend nearly every waking hour in the studio working on songs and experimenting with new sounds. He dropped his first mixtape in 2016, and then in early 2017 dropped his first album. More and more people began to take notice and he went on tour that year. His music began to be played on the radio and in the years since, he’s put up millions of plays on streaming platforms with his music.

“Diverse isn’t just the name I go by, it’s the type of music I create,” he said. “It’s also my personality and how I hold myself which is different from other people. There are different races in me. I was a jock in high school but also loved drama. I was always different than anybody else and my music is a representation of that. I have different flows on this song – I sound like three or four different people instead of just one – but I’m always keeping it real. My music will always be that – talking about shit I can talk about and be comfortable with. I want to choose the best version of myself and show that to the world, and I want to inspire people to embrace that about themselves as well. Just be 100 percent honest – that goes a long way and that’s what I want my music to be known for at the end of the day.

DISREGARDING FAN APOLOGY, DOJA CAT DOUBLES DOWN ON RETIRING PLANS.

Doja Cat made news lately when she declared her retirement from music, citing a disappointing performance at Lollapalooza Brazil on March 24 as the reason. She had canceled her set at Asunciónico 2022, causing fans to become enraged, prompting Doja to announce her retirement from the music industry.

The Earth Her rapper apologized to her adoring fans, but she hasn’t changed her mind about retiring early. On Monday (March 28), Florida radio station MIX 105.1 took to Twitter to publish an item about Doja’s apologies, writing, “Ok so maybe @DojaCat isn’t retiring.”

Doja spotted the tweet and chose to respond, stating that she was certain she would be hanging up her microphone.

Doja responded to the radio station’s tweet, “Yes the fuck I am.”

https://twitter.com/DojaCat/status/1508644107400323075

The rapper has been suffering with the rigors of the profession, and in her tweets on Thursday, she appeared to be giving up on her career completely. Doja clapped back and stated she didn’t care anymore when a South American fan inquired what happened to her “humility.”

“I don’t give a fuck anymore,” she wrote Thursday night. “I fuckin quit. I can’t wait to fucking disappear and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me; music is dead, and I’m a fucking fool for ever thinking I was made for this. This is a fucking nightmare. Unfollow me.”

Doja, thankfully, saw the pain she caused her followers and apologized on Saturday (March 26), asking for forgiveness and understanding that she is in a good position in her life owing to her fans and her music profession.

“I can travel, I can eat good food, I can see new people, I can smile, I can make memories that I dreamed of having, I can laugh, I can support my family and my friends, I can learn about the world, and I can give back to everyone because of you,” she said. “I do owe people shit. I owe a lot.”

Doja continued, “I owe myself a lot too. I owe myself the chance to open up and be good to people. I owe myself the death of my fears that don’t allow me to expand my heart. I didn’t come to another country to do something i can do everywhere else. That would be pointless in a way.”

Dillon Lee Cronan – Learn How to Smile

Southern rocker blends punk and rap
for modern twist on throw-back sound

DALLAS, TX – Punk Rap music is about to spring back into the conversation thanks to Deep South artist Dillon Lee Cronan. The young musician from Dallas, Texas has perfected his one-of-a-kind sound and is set to put it on display with the release of his new single “Learn How to Smile.” It’s the first off an upcoming Punk Rap album called “A Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood” which is already available across all streaming platforms. However, the music video for “Learn How to Smile” will drop this summer.

Growing up in Dallas, Cronan said he was heavily influenced by punk rock bands while simultaneously being enthralled by the Hip Hop culture. His experimentation with music through the years became an organic blending of those two genres, so that by the time he was a teenager, he was playing guitar and spitting raps. He’s been performing around Dallas for the past five years while writing songs for his new album, and now he’s ready to show the world what he has to offer.

I haven’t seen any big recognition of Punk Rap as a genre,” Cronan said. “I love those bands from the 90s like Everclear and Sum 41 and 311, but I also love Nas and Big Daddy Kane and Slick Rick. So as I was looking at the industry today and realizing there weren’t any current bands with that kind of a sound, I realized that if it hadn’t happened already then it needed to. I was definitely the one who could push that type of sound.

With “Learn How to Smile,” Cronan is bringing a song that is both timely for current affairs of the world, and perfectly suited to reintroduce the world to the sound of Punk RapCronan said the message of the song is about putting a strong face on through struggles – not so much wearing a mask and hiding the inner turmoil, but rather choosing to adopt a positive outlook and rest in the hope of a better future.

“Shit’s bad but you gotta keep a positive outlook,” he said. “So basically, it’s a song about being easy. It’s pretty upbeat, and the sound is kind of aggressive. Instrumentally, it’s like a Punk band – like Green Day or Sum 41 – but then I rap. I picked up the guitar when I was 15 and started getting into Jimmy Hendrix, but Hip Hop has always been my favorite genre because I just love the wordplay. I didn’t get into Punk until my late teens, but I just love how fast and simple and aggressive it is. This song is a blending of all of those things. It’s my favorite type of music to jam to, and so I decided it’s what I wanted to blend together for my own sound.”

Cronan said the full album further explores that sound and will take listeners on a ride that will be undeniable in its energy and invitation to let out that angst that all great 90s music was known to do.

DIDDY REJECTS DIDDY’S STATEMENT THAT WILL SMITH AND CHRIS ROCK RECONCILED AFTER THE OSCARS SLAP.

On Sunday (March 27), Diddy attended a Vanity Fair party after the 94th Annual Academy Awards, when Will Smith memorably struck Chris Rock across the face. “That’s not a problem,” the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly told Page Six at one point. That’s everything for now. That is something I can attest to. It’s all based on love. They’re brothers.”

But Diddy is now denying he said that and claims he was misquoted. Speaking to TMZ, he said, “I never confirmed they had reconciled. I said, ‘As brothers, they will work it out, and let’s move on with love.’” A source close to Diddy reportedly added, “He knows people are hurting, and doesn’t want to become the middleman or take the focus off of the conflict moving forward in the right way.”

Shortly after Diddy’s remarks went viral, a source close to the legendary comic debunked the report, stating that the two Hollywood giants haven’t communicated since the incident. Rock was left “shaken and bewildered,” according to TMZ, and quickly headed to his dressing room with “no intention” of remaining. He rushed out of the Dolby Theatre and made his way to Guy Oseary’s Oscars After Party, where he tried to let off fury.

Smith slammed Rock for making a G.I. Jane joke about his wife Jada Pinkett, who has alopecia, an inflammatory illness that causes hair loss. Rock has no knowledge she has the disease, according to the insider, and he “doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”

After publicly apologizing to Chris Rock, the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor has admitted he was far out of line. Rock, on the other hand, has kept silent on the matter. Smith’s mother, Carolyn Bright, told ABC6 that she was astonished by her son’s conduct and that she had never seen that side of him before.

DIDDY EXCEEDS KANYE WEST ON THE HIP HOP RICH LIST AND IS OFFICIALLY DECLARED A BILLIONAIRE

Following Kanye West’s loss of his billionaire title, Diddy has now been officially recognized as a billionaire, overtaking the Yeezy mogul on the Hip Hop wealthy list.

Ye’s status as a billionaire was reportedly taken away on Tuesday (October 25) after he and adidas stopped their successful collaboration.

Given that Kanye is now estimated to be worth $400 million, the publication Substack said that Diddy has now eclipsed Ye on the list of rap’s top five richest moguls on a list created by former Forbes Senior Entertainment Editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg. JAY-Z, though, continues to rule with a $1.5 billion net worth.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is now estimated to be worth $800,000,000, making him the second-richest rap mogul behind Hov. Thanks to his long-standing interests in DeLeon tequila, Ciroc, and his media network Revolt, which are collectively worth over $60 million, Diddy has made a successful ascent into the billionaires club.

With valuations of $410 million and $400 million, respectively, Berner and Dr. Dre won the last two spots.

Diddy’s billionaire status was announced shortly after he boasted about becoming “Hip Hop’s first billionaire” in a YouTube motivational video. The “Gotta Move On” rapper said in a follow-up video that he hadn’t yet become a billionaire 2after the original video went viral.

“A lot of blogs took that as I had become Hip Hop’s first billionaire. That is not the case,” he explained. He went on to say that “the race is still on,” adding that “any of you hustlers out there can come and get it.”

“It really ain’t about the money at the end of the day,” he said. “It’s about the impact that you have on the world.”

Diddy was once a target of Kanye West’s furious fury, who has continued to suffer financial and social repercussions as a result of his prejudiced remarks towards Jews.

Kanye called Diddy a “fed” when Diddy appeared on The Breakfast Club and expressed his disapproval of the rapper’s decision to wear a White Lives Matter T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week.

“I didn’t like our convo,” Kanye wrote on Instagram. “I’m selling these tees Nobody gets in between me and my money This is my grandfather texting you now Never call me with no bullshit like that again unless you ready to green light me Cause anybody who got on that tee is me.”

Diddy then made an attempt to contact Ye directly, composing, “Let’s stop playing these internet games. And don’t feel threatened. You’ll be fine. Just love.”

Ye then said: “This ain’t a game Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me I told you this was war Now gone get you some business.”

In the meanwhile, Diddy just released a number of remixes of his new song “Gotta Move On,” including a “Queen Remix” in which Ashanti responds to Irv Gotti’s intoxicated remarks about their previous relationship on Drink Champs.

DIDDY & KING COMBS ARE FIRST FATHER-SON TEAM TO RISE TO THE TOP OF THE US AIRPLAY CHARTS AT THE SAME TIME

As the first father-son team in history to top the charts simultaneously, Diddy and his son King Combs are now celebrating their historic accomplishment.

In one of Diddy’s numerous Instagram postings, the founder of Bad Boy Records can be seen laughing heartily after being informed of the joyful information.

“The way you feel when you and your son do something that’s never been done and make history and go number 1 at the same time!!” Diddy wrote in the first Instagram caption. “We sending this one out to all the fathers!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE.”

In a separate post, Diddy added: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of my son @KingCombs!! He put that work in!! They made him work harder and he worked harder!! Congratulations, I’m proud of you son!! I love you!!! #1 song on Urban Radio!!”

In a video that also appears alongside the later Instagram post, Diddy is seen cheering for his son while holding a cake and is surrounded by loved ones.

“This is for my son Christian. He put out 1, 2, 3, 4 maybe 5 records and he didn’t stop,” Diddy said. “And when you don’t stop and you say fuck that, and you go for what you know, and you did it for your mama too, and you did it on your own son and we proud of you.”

King Combs’ most recent success comes after he said in 2020 that his father has always been the biggest critic of his music and that first impressions count to him even if it’s his son.

“Me and my Pops got a good relationship, and we’re real close sometimes, like it feels like we’re brothers,” Combs said via Zoom. “We’re just super cool. But Pops, he don’t play, he always makes sure that I’m on my Ps and Qs, and that I’m working hard, and not really taking nothing for granted. He be hard on me sometimes but at the end of the day, that’s my Pops. That’s what he’s supposed to do, so he’s cool.”

“Gotta Move On” was released as a single in May, and a Teyana Taylor-directed video followed shortly after. It is the first track to be released off Puff’s next album, Off The Grid Vol. 1, which will be his fifth studio album and his first since 2006’s Press Play.

Additionally, the record will be his debut endeavor under Love Records, the R&B label that the music entrepreneur established in partnership with Motown Records earlier this year.

“Music has always been my first love, Love Records is the next chapter is about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life,” Diddy said in a statement at the time. “For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R&B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album and I’m excited to add to its legacy.”
