@JoynerLucas – Broski “Official Video” (Not Now I’m Busy) ft. @Rotimi

The narrative of “Broski” centers around Joyner and a friend from his youth. Joyner sings about a buddy who first tells him how happy he is of him, then begs him for money since he has been there for him, and then expresses how resentful and envious he is of his “friend” Joyner and his success.

16 songs make up Beyoncé’s Renaissance tracklist.

The long-awaited tracklist for Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, Renaissance, has finally been made public.

The Grammy-winning R&B artist shared the album’s tracklist on Wednesday (July 20) through her Instagram Story, nine days before it becomes available for streaming on July 29.

Her most recent single, “Break My Soul,” which Queen Bey released on June 20, is one of the 16 songs on the album. I’m That Girl, Plastic on the Sofa, Thique, and America Has a Problem are some of the other song names.

After revealing the cover art at the end of June and using that time to further discuss the meaning of the album to her, Bey then released the tracklist.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” Beyonce wrote in her Instagram caption.

“My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment,” she continued. “A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

Both reviewers and Beyoncé’s pals have been praising her new song. Michelle Obama, a former first lady, expressed her congrats to the musician.

“Queen @Beyonce, you’ve done it again!” she wrote. “‘Break My Soul’ is the song we all need right now, and I can’t help but dance and sing along while listening to it. Can’t wait for the album!”

Here is the complete track listing:

The lookalike of LIL Durk is asking $10,000 for an appearance. “My prices are rising,”

The well-known impersonator of Lil Durk has disclosed an increase in his appearance pay for playing the role of the OTF chief.

The Chicago rapper, better known by his stage name Perkio, put the man in his “Blocklist” music video and brought him out on stage in Miami back in April, completely altering the course of the man’s life.

“My prices going up now down so $10k a show, $5k feature is very fair so continue booking me,” the Durkio clone wrote on his IG story.

When Durk fans flocked to a mall in Broward County expecting to meet and greet the famous Chicago rapper, Perkio’s climb to stardom began. YouTuber King Cid went to great lengths in a 15-minute video of the disaster to persuade the excited admirers they were mingling with Durkio.

They recruited a security crew, rented a Lamborghini, used phony photographers, and even gave Perkio fake tattoos. The Voice himself noticed the situation when the fake Durk posed for several images, reposted the clip, and then contacted Perkio directly.

Soon later, Durk displayed his double during a concert stop in Miami, Florida. The duo can be seen dancing to “Blocklist” in footage of the event before Durk calls out his twin and begs the crowd to raise some noise in support of him.

The twin’s journey hasn’t always been easy sailing, though. In order to taunt the actual Durk, Lil Durk’s longstanding foe 6ix9ine shared a video showing him and his gang surrounding Perkio in June. Following the event, Perkio said it was all a setup by 6ix9ine and his henchmen. He had planned to meet with someone to work on some songs.

“This was never supposed to happen,” he said on Instagram Live. “Like, never. I was literally supposed to collab with Steve Will Do It. Like I literally wanted to collab with Steve Will Do It because he hit me up first.”

The oxycodone pills that led to Kodak Black’s arrest, according to his attorney, were prescribed

The Oxycodone tablets Kodak Black had with him when he was recently arrested, according to his lawyer Bradford Cohen, were prescribed. Kodak has “battled chronic pain,” according to Cohen, ever since he was shot in Los Angeles over the course of Super Bowl LVI weekend. Cohen claims that in order to treat the injuries, the painkillers are “necessary”.

Kodak claimed, according to Cohen, that a Kentucky federal prison officer attacked him before his release in January 2021. He allegedly uses the medications to treat the “ongoing attack pain.” In an effort to settle the case swiftly, Cohen claimed to have convinced the prosecution that the Oxycodone tablets were legitimately prescribed.

The inhabitant of Pompano Beach was detained on Friday (July 15) when he was operating a Dodge Durango through Fort Lauderdale, which authorities said had too much tint. When Kodak was subsequently stopped, police stated that his car smelled like marijuana.

After searching, they discovered 31 Oxycodone tablets and $74,960 in cash. He had expired license and tags, according to the police. After that, Kodak was lodged at the Broward County Jail. Late on Friday night, Fox reporter Andy Slater tweeted that Kodak was also charged with trafficking.

“Kodak Black was arrested on Friday in South Florida,” he wrote. “Cops pulled over the rapper and during a search found 30+ Oxycodone pills and over $50,000 in cash, multiple sources tell me.” He added, “Kodak Black is being charged with trafficking, multiple sources tell me.”

Cohen asked for the narcotics to be analyzed by a third party shortly after Kodak Black was taken into custody in order to guarantee a fair trial.

“It is impossible … to explore a defense on behalf of [Kodak] without being able to inspect, weigh, and independently test the substances,” Cohen said in a statement. “[It’s] essential to ensure his right to a fair hearing, his right to confrontation, his right to prepare a defense on his own behalf, his right to effective assistance to counsel, and due process of law pursuant to the protections afforded to him by the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and the Florida Constitution.”

Following his most recent run-in with the cops, Kodak Black has been cracking jokes. Kodak said in a since-deleted tweet that the cop who handcuffed him just intended to grope him. He noted: “Hey I’m Officer Pinky Dick The One On The News For Arresting The Rapper Kid With The Big Dick And Alotta Cash. Yea My Daughter Talks About It So Much I Had To Pull Em Over So I Can Feel It Myself .. No Lie Bro Felt Like He Had A Shotgun In His Front Pocket.’”

Young Thug and Gunna are in good spirits behind bars, according to Lil Baby.

Young Thug and Gunna seem to be in good spirits, according to Lil Baby, who visited them on Thursday in the Fulton County Jail (July 14).

Outside Reagan National Airport, TMZ contacted the platinum-selling rapper and inquired about the whereabouts of his YSL buddies who were in prison.

“They doing great, they in good spirits,” Baby said, after he stopped his rapping rendition of Future’s “Back to the Basics.” Check out the video below.

When Thugga was originally imprisoned in May, Baby visited him and expressed a similar attitude on social media.

“I talked to @youngthug, He in great spirits,” he tweeted out with a prayer hands emoji.

In May, RICO charges were brought against 28 YSL associates, including Thug and Gunna. Both rappers were repeatedly denied bond. In June, Judge Wolf denied Thug’s plea for bond because he thought the Punk rapper posed a flight risk and shared the prosecutor’s fears that he may commit other offences if freed.

Gunna nearly attended a second bail hearing in Fulton County Court earlier in July but was once again turned down for release. The 29-year-old Atlanta star will be imprisoned until his trial in January 2023, according to WSB-TV. The “pushin p” rapper has maintained his innocence, and on June 14—his 29th birthday—he sent an open message to his social media accounts asking for

“For now, I don’t have my freedom,” it read in part. “But I am innocent. I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name! The picture being painted of me is ugly and untrue. My fans know I love to celebrate life, I love my family, I love travel, I love music, I love my fans. I have all faith that God will grant me justice for the purity in my heart and the innocence of my actions.”

With Chris Brown, Lil Baby is presently co-headlining a major tour called One Of Them Ones. On Friday, July 22, the duo is scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They will then continue their tour through a number of other cities, including Boston, Toronto, Detroit, and a host of others, before ending it off in Las Vegas on August 27.

Baby is preparing for a summer takeover as well. Lil Baby said that he will release a new album in July after releasing the singles “In a Minute,” “Right On,” and “Frozen,” but he hasn’t specified a release date as of yet.

IN JAIL VIDEO CALL WITH HIS GODSON, GUNNA SMILES

Gunna is most certainly going to spend the remainder of the year in prison, but that doesn’t seem to be depressing him.

The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, was shown grinning throughout a video chat with his godson from prison that went viral on Sunday (July 17).

Gunna, dressed in a blue jumpsuit, made a joke over the phone, “Shorty look like a real playa, though,” The youngster, who was seated next to his mother in front of a laptop, grinned and babbled in response.

In a broad RICO case against their Young Slime Life (YSL) collective, which prosecutors have accused of being a “criminal street gang” responsible for a number of violent crimes in Atlanta, including murder and armed robbery, Gunna was charged on May 9 alongside Young Thug and 26 other individuals.

The DS4Ever hitmaker is accused of conspiring to break the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO Act) on one count. Due to his use of YSL chains and posting on social media purportedly promoting the “criminal” collective, prosecutors have linked him to the case.

In a letter that he sent in June while incarcerated, Gunna insisted on his innocence and promised to “never stop fighting to clear my name.”

“For now, I don’t have my freedom. But I am innocent,” he wrote. “I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name! The picture being painted of me is ugly and untrue. My fans know I love to celebrate life, I love my family, I love travel, I love music, I love my fans. I have all faith that God will grant me justice for the purity in my heart and the innocence of my actions.”

A trial for both Gunna and Young Thug (who also remains in jail after being denied bond) has been set for January 9, 2023.

TEE GRIZZLEY SAYS HE BEAT A ROBBERY CHARGE BY STUDYING LAW IN PRISON

Tee Grizzley started studying law after being accused with armed robbery and arrested in 2015 in an effort to reduce the length of his 15-year sentence. The Detroit-born rapper said in an interview with Million Dollaz Worth Of Game that his own familiarity with the law enabled his early release from prison after only 18 months.

“I didn’t think I was getting out,” Grizzley said. “Man, look I got n-ggas in there telling me, ‘You better take ten years if they try to give that to you.’”

He continued by saying that he frequently sought advice from both his legal counsel and his fellow prisoners, who all advised him to avoid trial at all costs. But Grizzley started frequenting the library since spending ten years in prison didn’t sit well with him.

“They say we armed cause of the sledgehammer right?” Grizzley said, referring to the tool he allegedly used to commit the series of robberies at Michigan State University. “So I get in the law book. First thing I see I go to that type of shit, and they say, ‘You can only consider something a weapon if they use it to threaten somebody and demand something.’ I ain’t never told nobody I was gonna hit them with the hammer. I ain’t raised nobody or nothing. So they can’t say that that’s a weapon.”

He continued, “and I told my lawyer that and my lawyer surprised like, ‘No you right.’ I’m like, ‘The fuck you mean I’m right? You knew this before me. I get to tell my co-defendant, ‘Look read the law book. Look at every case,’ and we end up getting up out that motherfucker.”

The parole period for Tee Grizzley ended in October 2016. Just days after his parole expired, he recorded his popular track “First Day Out” as a free man. Over 227 million people have watched the song’s music video, in which Tee Grizzley appears wearing the same same orange jumpsuit he used while incarcerated. His featureless first album My Moment, which is now gold, was released in 2017 as a follow-up to the song.

“When I was locked up bro, I was just writing a whole bunch of songs,” he told DX at the time. “I wrote this one song. It didn’t have a hook on it. I was like I’m going to be calm and first and then turn up. All through my bid, I was just adding to it. Touching it up and critiquing it. I was like I’m going to drop this first. That’s why I named it ‘First Day Out’ because that was the first thing I did when I got out.”

Since then, Tee Grizzley has released songs often. He just released Half Tee Half Beast, a project that includes cameos from Lakeyah and Baby Grizzley.
