DIDDY & KING COMBS ARE FIRST FATHER-SON TEAM TO RISE TO THE TOP OF THE US AIRPLAY CHARTS AT THE SAME TIME

As the first father-son team in history to top the charts simultaneously, Diddy and his son King Combs are now celebrating their historic accomplishment.

In one of Diddy’s numerous Instagram postings, the founder of Bad Boy Records can be seen laughing heartily after being informed of the joyful information.

“The way you feel when you and your son do something that’s never been done and make history and go number 1 at the same time!!” Diddy wrote in the first Instagram caption. “We sending this one out to all the fathers!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE.”

In a separate post, Diddy added: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of my son @KingCombs!! He put that work in!! They made him work harder and he worked harder!! Congratulations, I’m proud of you son!! I love you!!! #1 song on Urban Radio!!”

In a video that also appears alongside the later Instagram post, Diddy is seen cheering for his son while holding a cake and is surrounded by loved ones.

“This is for my son Christian. He put out 1, 2, 3, 4 maybe 5 records and he didn’t stop,” Diddy said. “And when you don’t stop and you say fuck that, and you go for what you know, and you did it for your mama too, and you did it on your own son and we proud of you.”

King Combs’ most recent success comes after he said in 2020 that his father has always been the biggest critic of his music and that first impressions count to him even if it’s his son.

“Me and my Pops got a good relationship, and we’re real close sometimes, like it feels like we’re brothers,” Combs said via Zoom. “We’re just super cool. But Pops, he don’t play, he always makes sure that I’m on my Ps and Qs, and that I’m working hard, and not really taking nothing for granted. He be hard on me sometimes but at the end of the day, that’s my Pops. That’s what he’s supposed to do, so he’s cool.”

“Gotta Move On” was released as a single in May, and a Teyana Taylor-directed video followed shortly after. It is the first track to be released off Puff’s next album, Off The Grid Vol. 1, which will be his fifth studio album and his first since 2006’s Press Play.

Additionally, the record will be his debut endeavor under Love Records, the R&B label that the music entrepreneur established in partnership with Motown Records earlier this year.

“Music has always been my first love, Love Records is the next chapter is about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life,” Diddy said in a statement at the time. “For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R&B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album and I’m excited to add to its legacy.”

DIDDY EXCEEDS KANYE WEST ON THE HIP HOP RICH LIST AND IS OFFICIALLY DECLARED A BILLIONAIRE

Following Kanye West’s loss of his billionaire title, Diddy has now been officially recognized as a billionaire, overtaking the Yeezy mogul on the Hip Hop wealthy list.

Ye’s status as a billionaire was reportedly taken away on Tuesday (October 25) after he and adidas stopped their successful collaboration.

Given that Kanye is now estimated to be worth $400 million, the publication Substack said that Diddy has now eclipsed Ye on the list of rap’s top five richest moguls on a list created by former Forbes Senior Entertainment Editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg. JAY-Z, though, continues to rule with a $1.5 billion net worth.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is now estimated to be worth $800,000,000, making him the second-richest rap mogul behind Hov. Thanks to his long-standing interests in DeLeon tequila, Ciroc, and his media network Revolt, which are collectively worth over $60 million, Diddy has made a successful ascent into the billionaires club.

With valuations of $410 million and $400 million, respectively, Berner and Dr. Dre won the last two spots.

Diddy’s billionaire status was announced shortly after he boasted about becoming “Hip Hop’s first billionaire” in a YouTube motivational video. The “Gotta Move On” rapper said in a follow-up video that he hadn’t yet become a billionaire 2after the original video went viral.

“A lot of blogs took that as I had become Hip Hop’s first billionaire. That is not the case,” he explained. He went on to say that “the race is still on,” adding that “any of you hustlers out there can come and get it.”

“It really ain’t about the money at the end of the day,” he said. “It’s about the impact that you have on the world.”

Diddy was once a target of Kanye West’s furious fury, who has continued to suffer financial and social repercussions as a result of his prejudiced remarks towards Jews.

Kanye called Diddy a “fed” when Diddy appeared on The Breakfast Club and expressed his disapproval of the rapper’s decision to wear a White Lives Matter T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week.

“I didn’t like our convo,” Kanye wrote on Instagram. “I’m selling these tees Nobody gets in between me and my money This is my grandfather texting you now Never call me with no bullshit like that again unless you ready to green light me Cause anybody who got on that tee is me.”

Diddy then made an attempt to contact Ye directly, composing, “Let’s stop playing these internet games. And don’t feel threatened. You’ll be fine. Just love.”

Ye then said: “This ain’t a game Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me I told you this was war Now gone get you some business.”

In the meanwhile, Diddy just released a number of remixes of his new song “Gotta Move On,” including a “Queen Remix” in which Ashanti responds to Irv Gotti’s intoxicated remarks about their previous relationship on Drink Champs.

DIDDY REJECTS DIDDY’S STATEMENT THAT WILL SMITH AND CHRIS ROCK RECONCILED AFTER THE OSCARS SLAP.

On Sunday (March 27), Diddy attended a Vanity Fair party after the 94th Annual Academy Awards, when Will Smith memorably struck Chris Rock across the face. “That’s not a problem,” the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly told Page Six at one point. That’s everything for now. That is something I can attest to. It’s all based on love. They’re brothers.”

But Diddy is now denying he said that and claims he was misquoted. Speaking to TMZ, he said, “I never confirmed they had reconciled. I said, ‘As brothers, they will work it out, and let’s move on with love.’” A source close to Diddy reportedly added, “He knows people are hurting, and doesn’t want to become the middleman or take the focus off of the conflict moving forward in the right way.”

Shortly after Diddy’s remarks went viral, a source close to the legendary comic debunked the report, stating that the two Hollywood giants haven’t communicated since the incident. Rock was left “shaken and bewildered,” according to TMZ, and quickly headed to his dressing room with “no intention” of remaining. He rushed out of the Dolby Theatre and made his way to Guy Oseary’s Oscars After Party, where he tried to let off fury.

Smith slammed Rock for making a G.I. Jane joke about his wife Jada Pinkett, who has alopecia, an inflammatory illness that causes hair loss. Rock has no knowledge she has the disease, according to the insider, and he “doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”

After publicly apologizing to Chris Rock, the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor has admitted he was far out of line. Rock, on the other hand, has kept silent on the matter. Smith’s mother, Carolyn Bright, told ABC6 that she was astonished by her son’s conduct and that she had never seen that side of him before.
