IN AN AWKWARD DANCE VIDEO, KODAK BLACK GROPES HIS MOTHER’S REAR AND TRYS KISSING HER ON THE MOUTH

Over the weekend, Kodak Black was out partying at a Miami birthday party, when he brought his mother, Marcelene Octave, out for a spin on the dance floor — but then things went weird.

In a viral video of Kodak and Octave, the Bill Israel rapper grabs her behind and tries to kiss her on the lips while she laughs and backs away. On Sunday (October 10), comments poured in, ranging from contempt to complete befuddlement.

“Nah Kodak violating his own mommas ass cheeks is WILD!!!!” one person wrote. “What in the Z shit is this y’all Florida n-ggas some sick sickos. #Repent.”

Another wrote, “That video of Kodak black grabbing his mom on the ass and tryna kiss her on the lips is disgusting. She even looked uncomfortable when he was tryna do that.”

The video becomes viral after Kodak Black’s latest plea for aid. Yak deleted his social media accounts after sending a series of tweets implying he was on the verge of suicide last week.

He told his supporters on Saturday (October 9) that he was doing better and that he was not suicidal.

“I mean maybe that wasn’t the best thing to tweet and very selfish of me to let a thought like that succumb,” he began. “I apologize to me for doubting myself like I ain’t a raw ass gangsta ass n-gga but thugs need love too you know and it’s totally unfair to the people that DO love me, that DO care & wanna see me happy and successful, however that looks like!”

He added, “I understand I made a bold statement, but don’t worry I’m not suicidal and have no plans on harming myself. I been in maximum prisons people committing suicide and die from the hands of their cell mates right next to me, I been beaten by authorities 1,000 miles away from home no point of contact to family, never contemplated taking myself out.

“I got a great support system & surrounded by love, somebody put a false rumor in my head that drove me to the edge that I can’t say but all in all I’m ok! I’m really in need of a vacation but being on probation keep me stuck in this unhealthy environment where my only choice is running round the hood thuggin.”

For failing a drug test, Kodak Black recently joined a 90-day recovery program.

IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET RELEASE ON BOND, AN NBA YOUNGBOY PROPOSES RELOCATING TO UTAH

Since his arrest in March, NBA YoungBoy has been held in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on weapons and narcotics allegations.

YB’s legal team’s newest plan to win their client’s freedom entails him relocating full-time to his Utah house, despite the fact that he’s been refused bond many times. YoungBoy — born Kentrell Gaulden — had his attorneys make their case for relocation during a public hearing on Monday, according to The Advocate (October 18).

https://twitter.com/WaveCheck__/status/1450158309126803456?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1450158309126803456%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fhiphopdx.com%2Fnews%2Fid.65304%2Ftitle.nba-youngboy-proposes-relocating-to-utah-in-attempt-to-get-release-on-bond

Chief U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick had already rejected the idea of awarding YoungBoy Never Broke Again bail and has expressed no interest in altering her mind, citing  “reckless, illegal and dangerous behavior.”  Dick’s decision has yet to be announced as of press time.

In exchange for his possible Utah release, the Baton Rouge native will be subjected to tight house imprisonment, with a home studio erected to allow him to continue working. YoungBoy also promised to hire a private security force to monitor and safeguard his estate’s grounds against unwanted guests.

YoungBoy has just acquired a home in North Utah so that he could be closer to one of his boyhood instructors. He has allegedly spent the last decade in Utah with her extended family, staying out of trouble whenever he visits the Mormon State.

Another stumbling block to his release is the fact that the 21-year-old was allegedly involved in a recent brawl within the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.

Despite being jailed, NBA YoungBoy managed to top the charts by becoming the third rapper to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following 2Pac and Lil Wayne, with his Sincerely, Kentrell album, which was released in September.

IN AMSTERDAM, T.I. WAS ARRESTED: ‘IT SAID POLICE IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE’

On Tuesday (August 3), T.I. was reportedly detained in Amsterdam after an unpleasant bike mishap. The Hustle Gang boss says in a video posted to Instagram that he was arrested for using his phone while driving through town. He claims he didn’t come to a halt when crossing the roadway, and his handlebar shattered a cop’s side mirror.

“So I’m locked up now,” he said in an Instagram Live video uploaded by TMZ. “I’m obviously not supposed to have my phone as I’m biking and because the policeman ran into me and broke his side mirror…and I didn’t have my passport on me. I don’t know. It’ll be fine. He was extremely upset. I, myself, was out having a great time. I’m still not upset. They arrested me and didn’t even put me in handcuffs. They just opened the door and invited me to the backseat. I obliged.

“Let me see how I can make my bond real quick ’cause they don’t take cash. I got cash in my pocket, but they don’t seem to take this [laughs]. I ain’t no handcuffs put on me yet. They ain’t search me yet. We working on the buddy system out here and I like it.”

T.I. gets out of jail in another video and claims he had no idea the man shouting at him to halt was a cop.

“He was in a white van,” he says. “I didn’t know he was police. He looked like a furniture delivery …. I didn’t know he was. So then he pulled and I kept going, kept pushing like he wasn’t talking to me because I didn’t know what he was saying.

“Then he on the side and he said, ‘Stop!’ I understood that. Then I could see it said police in a different language, so I was like, “OK, this must be they police.’ I pulled over. I stopped, I slowed down at least and I guess I didn’t stop fast enough for him, so he pulled up and tried to cut me off.”

The officer then allegedly pressed up on his handlebar with his rearview mirror, knocking it off the police car, according to Tip. He was apprehended at that point.

Tiny, T.I.’s wife, was obviously on the trip, as her voice could be heard in the second video as they joked with the locals about how cops in the Netherlands don’t shoot Black people.

IN 2021, FOUR PEOPLE WERE CHARGED WITH SHOOTING AND FIRE THAT KILLED HONEYKOMB BRAZY’S GRANDPARENTS.

HoneyKomb Brazy may be battling for his release after violating his probation in 2021, but his grandparents may finally obtain justice.

According to AL.com, four people have been charged with murder in connection with the February 2021 shooting that killed Leila and Tony Lewis. One of them is a drug lord who earlier surrendered a $24 million narcotics enterprise.

Darrin “DD” Jamark Southall, 39, Terrance Watkins, Jamarcus Chambers, and a fourth unidentified suspect have all been charged. In November 2021, Southhall pled guilty to running a narcotics empire in Mobile and was charged with multiple counts of firing into an occupied residence and homicide.

“We’re very grateful for the district attorney’s office to be able to, at this point, make and approve charges in light of the Mobile Police Department’s hard work and investigation to hold those responsible for this double murder to be held responsible under the law,” Mobile County Assistant District Attorney Louis Walker told Fox 10.

HoneyKomb paid tribute to his late grandparents on social media, stating that he urged them to leave Mobile so that they would no longer be considered targets as a result of his conduct during the slayings.

“Long live grandma n grandpa,” he wrote on February 18, 2021. “Y’all was my heart fr I put y’all in every song I hate y’all got caught up In my Shìt smh this Shìt hurt main I beg y’all to let me move y’all everyday but y’all Taught me how to be stand up guy y’all always told me If it’s our time it’s our time god got us that’s how ik y’all in heaven y’all baby boy got y’all fasho granny granny Ima miss u bad already n I’m a fasho miss smoking that gas gas wit u grandpa y’all save me a spot cause I’m most definitely coming to see y’all.”

Honeykomb’s life was not spared from violence after his grandparents were killed. In January, the rapper’s mother said that she was afraid for her life after a shooting at her home, which was not the first time since her parents’ deaths.

HoneyKomb gave followers an update on his living circumstances in November, describing the conditions inside an Alabama prison as “hellish.”

The Rap-A-Lot protégé claimed in a since-deleted post that he’d rather die than continue to live in such a circumstance, alleging racism, harassment, and more.

“This shit Brazy, n-gga then took all he can take,” he wrote. “N-gga will rather die than live like this fr #LongLiveGeorgeFloyd.”

On Sunday, Kendrick Lamar (FINALLY!) released a new video and single for “The Heart Part 5”. (May 8). The secretive rapper announced the news on Twitter, elating his fans who have been patiently (or perhaps not so patiently) waiting for more K. Dot solo content for over five years.

When he turns into Kanye West, he raps about bipolar disorder, murder when he becomes into Nip, and living in a “land where hurt people hurt more people” when he transforms into Smith.

The video opens with the statement “I am,” directed by Dave Free and Kendrick Lamar himself. “All Of Us.” It’s also the first single from Mr. Morale & The Hot Steppers, his upcoming album (and final for Top Dawg Entertainment). IGGY AZALEA JOKES AT PLAYBOI CARTI, PROMISING TO ‘TAKE CARE’ OF HER.

Playboi Carti gave a rare interview to XXL on Tuesday (April 12), in which he lauded Iggy Azalea, the mother of his kid, and talked about “taking care” of her despite their separation.

“I’m a father,” he said. “You know what I’m saying? You know how it is having kids. I just got responsibilities. I pay a lot of bills. I take care of a lot of people. I take care of my mom. I take care of my family. I take care of my baby mom [and] I take care of my son. There’s a lot of people I take care of. So, it’s like, I gotta keep doing it.”

Iggy Azalea responded to Playboi Carti’s comments on Twitter a few hours after the story was published.

“Take care of me? Lmaooooo,” she wrote. “let’s not get carried away now.”

When a fan replied, “LMAODOD BITCH I SAW THAT AN WAS LIKE WHAT,” Iggy said, “I laughed. A lot.”

Onyx Kelly, the son of Playboi Carti and Iggy Azalea, was due in April 2020, however the pair reportedly split up before he was born. Carti characterized Iggy as a “great mom” and expressed his admiration for her in the interview, while also admitting that they are both now single.

“[My son’s] birthday is coming up in three weeks,” he said. “I got him a crazy chain, too. He’s going to be a problem. That’s who you need on the next cover. He’s beautiful. And Iggy, she’s a great mom. I love her to death. I’m single. She’s single now. But that’s one of the best mothers in the world. And that’s what you got to put in the book, you hear me? I love her to death. She is the best mother in the world.”

Playboi Carti wanted to make sure his statements on Iggy Azalea were included in the piece when asked for any further thoughts at the end.

“Just make sure [to put in] that I love my baby mother,” he said. “It definitely needs to be known that [Iggy] is the best mother in the world. My son is perfect. He’s too perfect. I need to rough him up a little bit.”

If the federal government had its way, R. Kelly may serve an additional 25 years in prison.

Federal prosecutors are claiming that R. Kelly is a “sadistic serial sexual predator” and are pushing for the disgraced singer to serve the rest of his life in prison.

The U.S. prosecutors in charge of Kelly’s 2022 conviction in Chicago on child pornography and enticement counts have presented a requested sentence of 25 years for the offenses, which they acknowledge is longer than what is advised by sentencing guidelines.

R. Kelly is now serving a 30-year sentence after being found guilty of comparable crimes in New York in 2021, and the government has further said that they would seek for his term in the Chicago case to start only after he has finished serving that sentence.

Kelly was referred to as “a serial sexual predator” who hasn’t expressed regret for his “sadistic” actions in the sentence proposal, which was submitted to the U.S. District Court on Thursday (February 16). According to the prosecution, Kelly “poses a serious danger to society.”

“The only way to ensure Kelly does not reoffend is to impose a sentence that will keep him in prison for the rest of his life,” prosecutors added.

Jennifer Bonjean, R. Kelly’s attorney, has responded by asking for her client to get a 10-year term to run concurrently with his New York sentence. She said that the 56-year-old crooner is already unlikely to survive his term because the average life expectancy for prisoners is 64.

The U.S. Attorney’s office’s stern proposal, according to Bonjean, was driven by race, he said, citing the large number of white rock musicians who haven’t even been tried despite having the same accusations made against them.

Prosecutors insisted that adding an extra 25 years to Kelly’s already lengthy existing sentence is a legitimate request in view of “the egregiousness of Kelly’s conduct” and his “intentional and prolific” exploitation of youngsters.

Three months after receiving his New York sentence, the “I Wish” singer was found guilty in his Chicago trial in September 2022 on six of the 13 charges he was up against. The state had also charged him with conspiring with his former business manager to rig his 2008 child pornography trial, but he had been exonerated on those allegations as well.

On February 23, a judge in Chicago will sentence R. Kelly.

Judge Harry D. Leinenweber on Thursday rejected the applications that his attorneys had previously submitted in an effort to have the conviction overturned or a new trial ordered.

ICE CUBE GIVES AWAY THOUSANDS OF MASK AS PFIZER’S CEO ISSUES A NEW VARIANT WARNING

HOLLYWOOD – JANUARY 11: Actor/singer Ice Cube arrives at the premiere of Warner Bros. “The Book Of Eli” at Grauman’s Chinese Theater on January 11, 2010 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)

With COVID-19 cases on the rise across the United States as a result of the Delta variant, masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) are still needed to keep the coronavirus at bay. Ice Cube and Derrick Armstrong of 115 Management Inc. teamed up to gift approximately 2,000 masks to Bacone College in Oklahoma for the fall semester of 2021.

“We are so grateful today,” the college posted on Twitter. “Bacone received a donation of 2000 face masks for students from legendary rapper and actor @icecube and Derrick Armstrong of 115 Management. #maskupstaysafe #warriors #baconecollege.”

Because masks are necessary in a variety of social contexts on campus, all professors and students will have access to free masks.

“We are incredibly grateful to Ice Cube and Mr. Armstrong. This is a generous gift that comes at a time when this virus is experiencing a resurgence in our area,” college president Dr. Ferlin Clark said. “We are dedicated to keeping our students safe and healthy, and this will have a lasting impact on our efforts.”

Oklahoma registered almost 2,500 coronavirus infections on Wednesday (August 25), according to The New York Times, matching November levels of positive testing in the state. For the day, there were also 136 fatalities.

With Delta variant cases spreading across the country, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla is worried that a vaccine-resistant version may develop shortly. As of Tuesday, more than 62 percent of adult Americans have received all of their vaccines (August 24).

“Every time that the variant appears in the world, our scientists are getting their hands around it,” Bourla told Fox News. “They are researching to see if this variant can escape the protection of our vaccine. We haven’t identified any yet but we believe that it is likely that one day, one of them will emerge.”

Ice Cube spoke with Jalen Rose on his Rennaisance Man podcast earlier this week, when he placed his whole career in perspective and commented on life-changing situations like quitting N.W.A.
