KODAK BLACK Claims Police are “racially profiling” him after the most recent arrest of “IMA SUE.”

On July 15, authorities in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, detained Kodak Black after finding 31 Oxycodone tablets and more over $50,000 in cash in his hands. He was driving with expired tags, according to the officers, and his tint was too dark.

However, his lawyer Bradford Cohen later said that the medicine he was carrying had a prescription from his physician. The Bill Israel rapper appears to still be furious over his most recent run-in with the authorities, despite having had a few weeks to think about it. Tuesday evening (July 26), Kodak Black posted a number of tweets lamenting his predicament and announcing his intention to file a lawsuit against the police officers who arrested him.

“This Shit bogus Af I feel like this a character assassination issue Kuz theirs no way I should be getting harassed bout my tag being expired,” he wrote. “That’s no reason to even search my car in the first place and going to jail about having my medication in the car is insane. Ima Sue these people for every dollar I gotta spend bout this shit!”

Kodak Black continued by saying that he believed his skin tone was the cause of his unjust targeting. He further stated that, given his famous profile, he ought to be permitted to have window tint.

“I’m being racially profiled and as a Black man in America,” he continued. “I deserve my freedom especially with everything I do for my community I should be getting love, respect and support from the authorities ! To move freely , not getting arrested for expired tag and dark windows.

“This a self inflicted wound that coulda been prevented! My people posta made sure my tags stay up and my tints just right but @ da same time I should have a pass to drive with tints due to my status AT LEAST !!! I show all this love round here just to get slapped in the face.”

The night of his arrest, Kodak Black was lodged at the Broward County Jail. Despite being rapidly bailed out, Kodak is currently faced with a number of legal repercussions. According to court documents that VladTV was able to obtain, a federal judge put the 25-year-old rapper under home arrest.

Additionally, he consented to a $225,000 surety bond, drug testing, the wearing of an ankle monitor with GPS, and a need to stay at home save for medical emergencies, court appearances, or work. Before concerts, he must give 48 hours’ notice, and he must get permission from his supervising officer before leaving his house for any other purpose.

According to the court order, “no studio events” are permitted unless they have had a judge’s prior approval.

The amount of talent to come out of Florida in recent years has been quite impressive, especially with the assistance of the internet and social media. The distinctive Florida bounce has been hard to miss following the tone set in the 90’s from the likes of Trina and Trick Daddy. Newcomers, such as rap artist C Glizzy who comes from Pompano Beach, Florida, is adding to this soundscape while also bringing a fresh new perspective to the industry.

What’s most impressive about C Glizzy’s artistry is his ability to deliver a sound that is raw and uncut but has fans still bobbing their heads along to it. His most recent project Numb the Pain is a prime example of this, which makes it hard to believe that he’s only been rapping professionally for under three years. He talks about the experience he faced after getting shot in the head, which gave him not only a new focus on life, but a renewed energy for his music. C Glizzy, whose birth name is Christian Moore, draws a lot of inspiration from rappers like DMX, Chief Keef, and 2 Pac who found their own ways of expressing their pain through music.

The young rapper notes the importance of having a plan and following it through. “If you gone be out here in the world, don’t be half stepping,” he explains. “You better have a plan.” His plan to take over the industry is in full motion with him already opening for charting artists like Polo G, Lil Tecca, Smokepurpp, and Lil Mosey. While he’s been able to perform across the nation, Florida is still true to his heart and he’s preparing to release an EP titled Florida Boyz with an intent to bring together the hottest up and coming artists out of Florida. His new single featuring Foolio is set to release soon as well.

KODAK BLACK SHRUGS OFF GUNSHOT WOUNDS FROM THE SUPER BOWL WEEKEND: ‘THAT’S WHAT I GET!’

Despite being shot in the leg and confined to a walker on Super Bowl Sunday (February 13), Kodak Black is ignoring his latest gunshot in Los Angeles. During an interview with The Breakfast Club on Wednesday (February 23), the Florida lyricist made light of the incident, claiming that no one was attempting
to murder him.

“Nobody was like after us or we was after them or like, know what I’m saying? No hit or no crazy shit like that,” Kodak said after he videoed into the interview. “It was just one of them nights.”

In one of Kodak’s latest IG Live sessions, Charlamagne observed that the 24-year-old rapper appeared happy to have “finally” been attacked, and asked him to clarify.

“I’m the type of n-gga nobody gonna make me feel bad man,” Kodak said. “I’m gonna show you my scars, I’m highlighting myself so you gonna be like ‘oh haha you got punked,’ I’m laughing at my damn self. I be like man that n-gga shot me real good. I’m shot up good you hear me? Shit like that. That’s what I get you know what I’m saying?”

Tha God pressed him further, asking “That’s what you get for what though?”

“For latching onto these n-ggas and shit,” Kodak added. “I know people ain’t fighting no more then it’s like shit I did a lot of shit Charlamagne, I’ll take my lick you heard me? I’m glad it wasn’t crazy or nothing, no whole other shit. I thank God every day since then, that shit could have been worse.”

On February 25, Kodak Black will release his fourth studio album, Back For Everything. He released the album’s second single, “I Wish,” on Tuesday (February 22), following up on the album’s first song, “Grinding All Season.”

Back For Everything features 19 songs, including “Love & War” and Kodak’s smash single “Super Gremlin,” which is still at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Bill Israel, the rapper’s most recent official album, was released in 2020 and included Lil Yachty, Tory Lanez, Jackboy, Gucci Mane, and CBE.

Over the weekend, Kodak Black was out partying at a Miami birthday party, when he brought his mother, Marcelene Octave, out for a spin on the dance floor — but then things went weird.

In a viral video of Kodak and Octave, the Bill Israel rapper grabs her behind and tries to kiss her on the lips while she laughs and backs away. On Sunday (October 10), comments poured in, ranging from contempt to complete befuddlement.

“Nah Kodak violating his own mommas ass cheeks is WILD!!!!” one person wrote. “What in the Z shit is this y’all Florida n-ggas some sick sickos. #Repent.”

Another wrote, “That video of Kodak black grabbing his mom on the ass and tryna kiss her on the lips is disgusting. She even looked uncomfortable when he was tryna do that.”

The video becomes viral after Kodak Black’s latest plea for aid. Yak deleted his social media accounts after sending a series of tweets implying he was on the verge of suicide last week.

He told his supporters on Saturday (October 9) that he was doing better and that he was not suicidal.

“I mean maybe that wasn’t the best thing to tweet and very selfish of me to let a thought like that succumb,” he began. “I apologize to me for doubting myself like I ain’t a raw ass gangsta ass n-gga but thugs need love too you know and it’s totally unfair to the people that DO love me, that DO care & wanna see me happy and successful, however that looks like!”
