Pleasure P has had his fair share of difficulties in Pretty Ricky, but it appears that he is having even more problems with his family.
The Miami Herald reported on Wednesday (November 10) that Pleasure’s son, Marcus Ramone Cooper Jr., 17, has been designated a suspect in the murder of a 24-year-old man in Miami by the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Cooper Jr., according to the sheriff’s office, shot and murdered Tyron Arthus on October 8. Around 1:30 a.m., Cooper was in a vehicle with Arthus, driving east on I-595 in Miami. Arthus was instructed to get out of the car by the R&B singer’s son before being shot many times and abandoned on the highway.
“Cooper should be considered armed and dangerous, and the investigation into the homicide is ongoing,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
On November 1, a Broward County judge issued an arrest warrant for detectives working on the case, charging them with first-degree premeditated murder with a handgun. Pleasure P used his Instagram Story to defend his son against the claims and shield him from the reaction from the media.
“So let me ask ya’ll this right, since he’s such a fugitive, a 17-year-old boy, tag the lead detective from BSO and tell him to get on live with my right now,” he said. “Since they tried to make my son be something he’s not. Innocent until proven guilty.”
Pleasure P is now on the 2021 Millenium Tour with Pretty Ricky, performing alongside Bow Wow, Omarion, Ying Yang Twins, Ashant, Soulja Boy, and others on stages around the country.

When the Houston Police Department announced that a security officer had been injected with narcotics, the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival on November 5 took on an even darker tone.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner told reporters the day after the tragic festival crowd surge, which killed eight people and wounded hundreds more, that a member of the event’s security team was pierced in the neck while attempting to control a concert-goer. He eventually passed out.
“[Medical staff] administered Narcan,” Finner said, referencing the prescription medicine used to treat an opioid overdose. “He was revived and the medical staff did notice a prick that was similar to a prick that you would get if someone was trying to inject.”
Houston police have since modified their story. Chief Finner explained that the security guard was hit in the head rather than the neck during a press conference on Wednesday (November 10).
Finner told CBS News that officials had spoken with the security guard, who verified that he was struck in the head and awoke in the medical tent. Finner claimed that no medications were put into him.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Travis Scott’s lawyer, Edwin F. McPherson, released a statement on the ongoing inquiry into the Astroworld killings.
McPherson demanded a halt to “finger-pointing,” accusing municipal officials of sending “inconsistent messages” and “backtracking from original statements.”
He highlighted Troy Finner’s comments in a recent New York Times interview, in which he stated that the police opted not to shut down the event because they were afraid of provoking fan rioting.
“Yet, just a short time later, Chief Finner states the responsibility to stop the show falls on Travis,” McPherson wrote.
He also supported Travis Scott by pointing out that, according to the festival’s Operations Plan, only the festival director and executive producer had the authority to cancel the concert.
McPherson ended his remarks by encouraging officials to stop pointing fingers and focus on the inquiry so that “we can identify exactly what transpired and how we can prevent anything like this from ever happening again.”

As the horrible events transpired during his headline Astroworld show, Travis Scott has come under fire for his conduct.
After emergency workers reported a “mass-casualty incident,” the Cactus Jack rapper was chastised for playing for 37 minutes. Several videos circulating online show him recognizing an ambulance in the audience but continuing his performance.
Other footage from the event, on the other hand, show Travis interrupting his act and requesting security to “jump in” and assist spectators.
Travis Scott said in a video about the Astroworld disaster that he “could never imagine the severity of the situation” while articulating his anguish. In addition, he’ll pay for the funerals of the eight admirers who died, as well as refunding all attendance.
However, this hasn’t stopped the lawsuits from stacking up. More than 68 lawsuits have been filed so far against Travis Scott, Drake (who performed as a special guest during Scott’s set), Live Nation, and festival organizers ScoreMore, with legal experts estimating billion-dollar damages.

Authorities said Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, that Casanova, whose legal name is Caswell Senior, was among 18 people indicted in connection to a litany of gang-related crimes including racketeering, murder, drugs, firearms and fraud offenses. According to Pitchfork, Casanova has been charged with attempted murder in his federal racketeering case.
Casanova is now charged with attempted murder, assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering, and other additional assault and weapons allegations in the case against accused members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, according to a superseding indictment. Racketeering and drug conspiracy charges have already been filed against the New York rapper.
Documents state, “on or about October 24, 2020, in the Southern District of Florida, Southern District of New York, and elsewhere,” Casanova and Jayecee “knowingly attempted to murder an individual and assaulted that individual with a dangerous weapon” and “shot at a rival gang member in Miami, Florida.”
Despite the new charges, Casanova’s attorney said in a statement, “[Casanova] has been and will continue asserting his innocence on these and all charges.”
After being wanted by the FBI for racketeering conspiracy, handgun possession, and conspiracy to distribute controlled narcotics, Casanova surrendered to police in December 2020. The indictment included 17 additional individuals, all of whom were already in detention when Casanova surrendered to investigators.
Casanova, who is being held at the Westchester County Jail, tried to gain a $2.5 million bond in January 2021 but was rejected.
Casanova addressed his incarceration in a statement shared to his Instagram account by his management in October.
“This is a public service announcement to all my fans and very important friends,” he wrote. “I’ve been incarcerated for almost one year now, exhausted all remedies and spent a significant amount of money on legal fees to prove my innocence. The charges against me are false, they don’t represent or reflect the person that I am. They are simply using my past criminal history to crucify me in court.
“I’m the same individual that went to city hall and housing projects with @ericadamsfornyc to speak to children and explain to them how shootings and gun violence isn’t the way of life.I’ve visited shelters to feed the people in need all around the world including Africa, donated to back to school drives and not one of my good deeds are mentioned or acknowledged.”
He added, “I’m calling on all the great people with meaningful and powerful voices to help me with this matter. Any help provided will be a blessing, because I feel defeated one’s past shouldn’t be the reason why you can’t be afforded a successful future. No one should be held accountable for the crimes they have already served their time for, in legal terms that’s considered double jeopardy.”
One of the suspects in HoneyKomb Brazy’s grandparents’ murder in February was also arrested on narcotics charges earlier this year. Darrin Southall, according to WKRG, consented to a plea agreement that will likely land him in prison for 30 to 35 years.

“So having him take a plea with significant jail time associated with that plea means a lot to this community as a whole for someone like him not to be able to be back on the streets,” Mobile’s Public Safety Director Lawrence Battiste said.
“When you’ve got two major interstates, we are a major connect from where drugs are being transported from primarily. Oftentimes, many of those drugs find those ways into our communities simply because we are a major thoroughfare for those drugs to make their way to other places.”
HoneyKomb Brazy was remanded in custody after his bond was canceled after a court saw 15 clips showing him with guns or narcotics, which was a blatant breach of his probation. After spending just 18 months of his 15-year sentence, he was sentenced to serve the remainder of his term before being freed in November 2020.
Emergency responders discovered the 26-year-grandparents old’s dead on February 17 after their Happy Hill neighborhood house was engulfed in flames. Witnesses claim to have heard gunfire coming from the residence.
HoneyKomb Brazy subsequently intimated that his actions may have resulted in an Instagram post mocking his grandparents. Southall was also mentioned as a person of interest in the double homicide, although no arrest has been made.
“I wish the Judge had denied the State’s motion to revoke [HoneyKomb Brazy’s] probation,” defense attorney Jeff Deen said. “His creativity influences and inspires others in his social circle. However, I can understand the judge’s opinion. He conducted a 2 1/2 hour hearing and then took three weeks to review the evidence presented which included a plethora of videos.
“Even if the guns, dope and alcohol weren’t real in the videos, I can see why the judge could conclude that HoneyKomb’s the depiction of drugs, guns, alcohol and misogyny would not be conduct becoming of a probationer.”

JAY-Z isn’t very active on social media. Roc Nation’s CEO has had a Twitter account since 2008, yet he’s only sent out 269 tweets in that time. Surprisingly, his most recent tweet was sent only two days ago, on October 31st, the day after he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
“In my excitement, I failed to prize, and acknowledge JAZ-O, he was the hometown hero that made the dream tangible,” he said of his acceptance speech. “Thank you good man… ok let me lose this password for another year or so . Thank you all again, incredibly humbled by your love.”
In my excitement , I failed to prize, and acknowledge JAZ-O, he was the hometown hero that made the dream tangible . Thank you good man… ok let me lose this password for another year or so . Thank you all again , incredibly humbled by your love .
However, it appears that JAY-Z fans may now look forward to (or at least hope for) some Instagram updates from the Hip Hop mogul. Hov is officially on Instagram as of Tuesday (November 2), and he only has one person following him: his wife Beyoncé.
With only one post, he has approximately 600,000 followers. Unsurprisingly, the photo promotes his new Netflix Western flick, The Harder They Fall. Two JAY-Z and Kid Cudi collaborations, as well as Conway The Machine and Jadakiss, are included on the film’s soundtrack.
Idris Elba, LaKeith Stanfield, Regina King, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, and Jonathan Majors are among the film’s all-star cast.
“When outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge,” the synopsis reads.
“Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally.”
The Harder They Fall was released in cinemas on October 22nd and will be available on Netflix on October 23rd (November 3). JAY-first Z’s Instagram post may be seen below.
According to WAFB, JayDaYoungan was arrested during a routine traffic stop in Washington Parish, Louisiana, on Saturday afternoon (October 30), after posting bond in a previous case in September.
The Atlantic Records rapper is currently being held in the Washington Parish Jail on charges including a second violation of child restraint, switched license plates, driving without insurance, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with weapons present, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II narcotic, obstruction of justice, and contempt of court.
According to his arrest records, JayDaYoungan — born Javorius Scott — was jailed just before 3 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon, and his bond amount is recorded as $0.00, indicating that he’ll be sticking there for the time being.
The 23-year-old was recently granted his release after serving a four-day jail sentence in Tangipahoa Parish Jail on counts of accessory to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. The arrest was made in connection with a tragic firefight at a trail ride in August 2020, which left two people injured and one person dead.
When jail officials discovered a photo of him behind bars posted to his social media accounts while he was still in detention, JayDaYoungan’s September 30 release was nearly disrupted.

The corrections officer at Tangipahoa Parish Jail who was caught taking the photo was dismissed right away, but Jay volunteered to keep the officer employed by paying their expenses until they could find another work.
Terry “Southwest T” Flenory and Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory created the Black Mafia Family in 1989, and it swiftly became one of the country’s top drug trafficking and money laundering businesses.
The money and power that came with it, as BMF First Lady Tonesa Welch detailed was seductive and addictive.
However, in 2005, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) charged key members of the Black Mafia Family, bringing the BMF empire to an end. The Flenory brothers were eventually found guilty and sentenced to 30 years in jail under the Continuing Criminal Enterprise Statute.
While Big Meech is still imprisoned, Southwest T was released last year as a consequence of the COVID-19 epidemic. As Instagram continues to flood with photographs of youngsters dressed up for Halloween, one couple in particular caught Southwest T’s eye.
Southwest T posted a set of images on Saturday (October 30) showcasing two young boys costumed as the Flenory brothers. Despite being delighted by the homage, Southwest T advised them not to follow in his footsteps and instead follow in the footsteps of Black Mafia Family stars da’Vinchi and Lil Meech.
“Woke up to this after my nap,” he wrote in the caption. “I’m humbly honored as I know my brother would be. My advice to both these young men @shannywoods13 is to be better than bruh and I and more like @davinchi @lilmeechbmf God forever bless everyone.”
Pooh Shiesty was due in court on Monday (October 25) to begin his trial for allegedly shooting a man in Florida on October 9, 2020. However, according to Rolling Stone, following hidden developments in the case, the Memphis rapper is reportedly intending to plead guilty.
During a hearing on Thursday, Shiesty and his road manager, co-defendant Bobby Brown, told US District Judge K. Michael Moore that they “both wish to change their plea from not guilty to guilty” (October 21).
Cohen explained, “We’ve entered into plea negotiations because there have been developments in the case that I think changed the dynamics of the case.”
Pooh Shiesty has been in prison since July, when he pleaded not guilty to a four-count federal charge that carried a possible penalty of life in prison. The trial has been taken from the court’s calendar as a result of the expected guilty plea, and a formal change of plea hearing has yet to be arranged.
Pooh Shiesty, Bobby Brown, and third co-defendant Jayden Darosa are accused of robbing and shooting two individuals at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, according to prosecutors. Shiesty allegedly drove a leased McLaren to the hotel to “purchase a pair of high-end athletic sneakers and marijuana,” and hoped to “negotiate an extension of his vehicle rental as part of the transaction,” according to court documents.
Shiesty and Brown are supposedly seen driving up to the hotel in a Mercedes Maybach, followed by Darosa. According to an FBI document, one individual handed Pooh Shiesty a bag of marijuana before handing him a shopping bag containing a pair of sneakers.
The second guy entered the vehicle and sat in the passenger seat. Pooh Shiesty reportedly “pointed a Draco subcompact weapon at him and demanded that he leave the sneakers in the car” while holding one of the footwear.
Darosa reportedly exited his vehicle and attempted to rob the second man of his jewels. Pooh Shiesty reportedly shot the man in the buttocks in self-defense before Brown allegedly shot the first man in the hip.
A Louis Vuitton bag carrying $40,912 is said to have fallen out of Shiesty’s McLaren’s driver’s seat as he drove away, according to authorities. Investigators were able to trace the money to Pooh Shiesty by matching a serial number to a $100 bill he posted on Instagram a few days before the event.
Big Sean reconnected with Hit-Boy behind the decks for his “What A Life” track and accompanying video, which will be released on Friday (October 22).
Joe Weil directed the video, which begins with Sean Don flying through the sky, describing it as “Goku type shit.” The Detroit native utilizes zen vibes to sit calm while an estimated 65,000 bees swarm his body as if nothing occurred, doing his best Candyman imitation.
Sean then moves through several life positions, including performing on stage at a concert, attending a wedding where all of the bridesmaids are armed with assault guns, and eventually becoming a football coach with Hit-Boy as his assistant.
With his fondness for the 1992 film, which was recreated this year, Big Sean found himself on the receiving end of a slew of bee-related jokes. On Twitter, Freddie Gibbs poked a little fun at Sean.
“Man I gotta get so rich I let bees sting me in the dick,” Gibbs joked.
Big Sean made a splash with his L.A. Leakers debut earlier this week, dropping a four-part freestyle with nine minutes of snarling bars. Nas was so taken by Big Sean’s scorching lyrics that he emailed him and expressed his admiration for his work.
“Nas just txt me saying ‘you murdered these freestyles thanks for pushing us all’ that’s crazy AF to me when I really thought about Nas txt’n me that, I’m at the crib right now in Detroit n I’m just feeling grateful I actually am doing what I said I would. Shit feel like a dream,” he wrote.

Since his arrest in March, NBA YoungBoy has been held in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on weapons and narcotics allegations.
YB’s legal team’s newest plan to win their client’s freedom entails him relocating full-time to his Utah house, despite the fact that he’s been refused bond many times. YoungBoy — born Kentrell Gaulden — had his attorneys make their case for relocation during a public hearing on Monday, according to The Advocate (October 18).
Chief U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick had already rejected the idea of awarding YoungBoy Never Broke Again bail and has expressed no interest in altering her mind, citing “reckless, illegal and dangerous behavior.” Dick’s decision has yet to be announced as of press time.
In exchange for his possible Utah release, the Baton Rouge native will be subjected to tight house imprisonment, with a home studio erected to allow him to continue working. YoungBoy also promised to hire a private security force to monitor and safeguard his estate’s grounds against unwanted guests.
YoungBoy has just acquired a home in North Utah so that he could be closer to one of his boyhood instructors. He has allegedly spent the last decade in Utah with her extended family, staying out of trouble whenever he visits the Mormon State.
Another stumbling block to his release is the fact that the 21-year-old was allegedly involved in a recent brawl within the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
Despite being jailed, NBA YoungBoy managed to top the charts by becoming the third rapper to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following 2Pac and Lil Wayne, with his Sincerely, Kentrell album, which was released in September.
