Saweetie: I’m not going to sacrifice my values

Saweetie refuses to compromise her “morals” in the name of profit.

The 27-year-old rapper has risen to fame and fortune in recent years, but she has never compromised her beliefs or ideals in the pursuit of popularity.

She revealed: “When you are a young woman in LA, sometimes you’re put in situations that can help you financially but will take a jab at your soul, your body. I remember basically just having the opportunity to get some money, but in doing so I would have violated my morals and my values.”

“I was broke but I was like, I will never do anything to disrespect myself … no matter how desperate I get.”

Despite her refusal to share the specifics of the event, the ‘My Type’ singer claimed that it demonstrated a larger point.

Teen Vogue quoted her as saying: “That’s a story within itself, but I think it was a moment where I was like, it’s okay. You’ll eventually get what you want out of life as long as you’re praying and working hard.”

Saweetie has lately moved into a new home and is feeling extremely positive about the future.

She stated,”I just got a new place. I feel refreshed. I feel like it’s a new chapter. I just want to be a good person and help people while being a pretty a** b****.”

Saweetie, on the other hand, has previously stated that “black music symbolises culture.”

Diamonte Harper, the rap star’s true name, explained: “I feel like we’re still influential. And beyond hip-hop and beyond rap, you see black music in rock, you see black music in pop, in R&B. So, I just think it goes to show how talented we are as people.”

Mally Mall, A Hip-Hop Producer, Sentenced To 33 Months In Jail

Mally Mall, a hip-hop producer and rapper whose actual name is Jamal Rashid, was sentenced to two years and nine months in jail in Las Vegas on Thursday. That’s a

total of 33 months, which was the maximum sentence he could obtain as part of a plea bargain.

He already stated that his escort services in Clark County between 2002 and 2014 were basically prostitution fronts. Rashid consented to a plea agreement in federal court that included a sentence of one to 33 months in jail.

Rashid was a monster in the past, according to Federal Judge Gloria Navarro, and his victims were imprisoned. She admits she wasn’t sure she’d accept the bargain because of his crimes, which she describes as “horrific,” but she adds that he now looks to be a law-abiding person. Rashid paid for prostitutes’ flights and advertised sex for sale on websites such as Backpage.

Rashid’s lawyer told the court that he was admitted to the hospital in July with COVID-19 and had lung difficulties. Due to his health, his sentence hearing was postponed multiple times.

Rashid’s ascent to stardom began with a shout-out on Drake’s “The Motto,” according to the website allmusic.com. He then put together a team that produced Drake, Chris Brown, Usher, Snoop Dogg, and Lupe Fiasco, among others.

Rashid is connected to a number of celebrities, including Justin Bieber. According to a fan site, he gifted Bieber a pet monkey. Bieber called the capuchin monkey Mally, and it made headlines again after customs officials in Germany took it away from him.

Rashid plays Nikki Mudarris’ longterm lover in six episodes of season one of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” Mudarris released a sex tape of himself in 2015.

The FBI searched his Las Vegas property after receiving claims of exotic animal and human trafficking.

The US Attorney’s Office advocated for the entire 33-month term in a sentencing memorandum.

In court on Thursday, Rashid expressed regret.

The I-Team asked him whether he had anything to say to the victims after the sentencing. His lawyer, David Chesnoff, responded:

“We have no comment. We did all our talking in court. Mr. Rashid expressed his remorsefulness, accepted responsibility, and he’s ready to do what the judge said and go back to make people happy with his music.”

Rashid has been given till August to surrender. He will serve at least three years of probation in addition to his jail sentence.

Angela Williams, a victim of Rashid, informed the I-Team in 2019 that she was one of his victims. She now claims to be delighted with Thursday’s result.

During the interview two years ago, Williams added, “I have faith that his expiration date is coming up,”

Prosecutors claim that his illicit activity netted him millions of dollars, but the judge noted that he is living above his means and is financially insolvent.

For the past few years, the I-Team has been following this tale. George Knapp was the first to report on the connection between this and an investigation into alleged corruption in Metro’s Vice Unit. There were no charges brought against the police, and Sheriff Joe Lombardo claims the unit has been cleaned up.

THE ‘CRAZY’ MIAMI NEIGHBOR OF CAM’RON IS NOW BREAKING INTO HIS APARTMENT

Cam’ron began a tumultuous connection with one of his Miami neighbors in March, which provided fans with both amusing and terrifying moments. Cam’ron returns with fresh exciting footage just when everyone thought the dramatic affair was done.

The Harlem rap artist posted a video on Instagram on Monday (June 7) showing his roommate attempting to force his way into his rental unit. According to Cam’ron, a buddy came to see him when they noticed the unknown neighbor loitering around his door.
He captioned the photo, “It’s too early for this shit.” “This my fault. I’ve been calling this scenario ‘The Neighbor,’ and this knucklehead now believes we’re in a comedy. I’ve been gone for a month so I thought shit was cool. My bro @nowwutdotcom came to check me and didn’t know what 19C looked liked he thought she was just someone who lived on my floor.”

Cam went on, “When I opened the door she tried to breach da crib. I Grabbed my phone to record, I have a plethora of evidence. To all my family and friends, if you come see me make sure no one NO ONE is lurking in da elevator or hallway. I did all I can not to go to police, but now it’s getting physical.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CP0j1JBBAHW/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=644efee3-07d4-4bcf-b559-50fab83808d7

If the current scenario isn’t contrived as most people believe, Cam’ron may need to call the cops before things gets much worse. Cam’ron was about to call the cops when his pink Audi was damaged with sticky notes by the neighbor last month.

“So if you seen yesterday I had The neighbors sister with me and I gave her that Blue mixed wit @pinkhorsepower She might be pregnant,” In the description of one of his videos, Cam stated. “This is why.. I landed and see this on my car..talking bout ‘maybe now You’ll get my messages’ yea ight.. don’t play with my property.”

Cam persisted in dragging his neighbor. “You going to jail!!! And you about to be an aunt. I was gonna drive to the precinct like this but then i thought how dumb I look..and I couldn’t see.. anyway.. season 2 coming with her sister.”

NC Lyricist Shame is Making Headlines

As a creative lyricist, talented in the art of storytelling, Shame is bringing Hip-Hop back to its roots, while still keeping up with the evolution the genre has experienced. His inspirations come from artists such as Q-tip, Biggie Smalls, A Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Big L, Nas, Mos Def, Eminem, and Rakim. Like many of these artists, Shame got his start to fame by competing in rap battles and distributing his music through local college radio stations.

Before his quest to conquer the music world began, Shame had to decide which parts of life were going to make or break him. Shame was born in the tough streets of Capital Heights, Maryland, however, his mother and father raised him in Landover, Maryland. Determined not to become a statistic or victim of gang violence or drugs, Shame used music to inspire and keep himself busy.

“I got my name from my grandmother because I was hooked on the movie A Low Down Dirty Shame as a kid, but it stuck with me when I grew up in the battle rapping era. People used to say I put shame to the rappers I battled, hence, Shame.”

Shame has lived in Raleigh, NC since 2013, where he continues to create music, and dropped his first project, The Sequence, in February 2016, featuring the lead single, “Still Ballin.”

He has performed at top venues throughout the Triangle (Raleigh/ Durham/ Chapel Hill) and beyond, including, Pour House, Imurj, Kings, Deep South, The Pinhook, The Lincoln Theater, Duke Energy Center, The Ritz, and The Blind Tiger amassing new fans along the way with his high-energy stage presence and dynamic delivery. Shame has also graced the stage opening for big names such as Bone Thugs & Harmony, Twista, Dave East, Yo Gotti, Ghost Face Killah, Raekwon, Slum Village, Nappy Roots, and many more! With the new release of his break-out album Genesis 98’ in October 2018 where he speaks on life situations and touches on current events, it’s no doubt that shame will be a huge break out in the soon future.

News – Walgreens Against Black Lives?

A single Black Father made to suffer in silence, with his family after being denied by 5 pharmacies, apparently, Walgreens across America are denying Black People Pain Medication.

Pharmacists in a Walgreens located at 21211 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores Michigan 48080 (586-776-7052 call them and share your feeling), have routinely decided against filling prescriptions to their BLACK customers as they “come off like drug dealers or drug addicts” or “more suspicious” than the rest of the customers in transit.

Pharmacists are telling customers paying with a debit or credit card is illegal or that people who do not live in the State can receive pain medication. A local resident who requested to remain anonymous at this time said that the staff at Walgreens made every effort to find a loophole to avoid servicing me as a client, as a human. He has already contacted a lawyer and was advised not to share the potential audio or video.

How can Black Lives Matter if Black Lives don’t get pain medication because they are viewed as less than 3/5 a man?

I think we should send a message to Walgreens that this is unacceptable! Hopefully, this story has a happy ending however I would love to do some follow-up articles on this story, to build traction on this! Thoughts? Have you or anyone you know experienced this? Let them know how you feel by calling them direct at 586-776-7052.

Officialvybe – What I’m Used Too

OfficialVybe overcomes near-death experience to create music that inspires others

ROCKFORD, IL – Just a few years after being in a coma for 47 days due to open heart surgery, Midwest rapper OfficialVybe has launched himself back on the music scene with a handful of hit singles. His most recent is the motivational track “What I’m Used To,” which launched wide across all streaming platforms earlier this year. It’s a song that announces to the world that he’s back in a major way and that his music today is a more mature and thought-provoking offering than his early work. The upbeat production created by Grammy Award winner Wyshmaster creates a one-of-a-kind experience that is sure to have people up on their feet and motivated to take on the obstacles that so often get in the way of realizing one’s dreams.

OfficialVybe is a rapper who initiated his craft under the guidance of Russell Barbary. He’s worked with Grammy winners such as Matty Trump and Wyshmaster, and has worked hard to develop an international presence so that today his music can be found being played in more than 120 countries worldwide. His sound is different because of his versatility. He does different sounds on different tracks, and he can switch up his voice to make it sound like he’s someone with whom fans aren’t familiar; and then he’ll come back with a sound that everybody likes. He’s constantly keeping his audiences on their toes.

“I want to cater to different types of fanbases,” he said. “The more people I can reach, the better. My voice has changed over the years. It used to be deeper but after my surgery, it changed dramatically. I feel like people can hear me more clearly now, and I’m able to switch things up more often from track to track.”

OfficialVybe said ultimately he wants his music to be known for inspiring others. With “What I’m Used To” for instance, he uses his artistic gift to motivate people to push past their problems and overcome the obstacles in their lives so as to achieve the goals they have before them. He points to his own life and the many challenges he’s pushed aside as an example that if he can do it, anyone else can, too.

“For people who go through serious relationships and end up with a broken heart, my music can help them get over being heartbroken,” he said. “I make a lot of love songs. I make a lot of ambition songs. I make songs that inspire you to go out and get that money. Anything that’s gonna move the crowds, that’s what my music is about. I make music people can relate to. And whatever I make, I want it to affect them in entirely different ways. Mostly, I want people to vibe to my music and to be inspired.”

OfficialVybe said he’s getting ready to shoot a music video for “What I’m Used To,” and then has plans to follow that up with a second single called “Thought It Was Love.”

Rowe$ Prepares For “Wave Runna” LP Release

Everyone’s story and path to his or her destiny are different and Rowe$ would likely be one of the first in line to attest to that. Although music has been an interest and love since he was 12, his athletic skills were so good that he was offered multiple scholarships during his senior year in high school. Betrayal by some close to him landed him in legal trouble and suddenly his freedom became more of a priority than a possible athletic career.  A strong mother and a reconnection with his dad he credits with getting him through his legal ordeal and refocused on music.

Hard work, consistency, and a grind that never stops were key in helping him establish a buzz in the ultra-competitive Atlanta music scene.  While out on a national tour Rowe$ caught the attention of Ayoo KD and his manager Lil Hypno and was signed to Surfs Up Records shortly after. His debut project Wave Runna is a life coming somewhat full circle and Rowe$ intends to take full advantage of this second chance. And in case you were wondering he is more than just a dumb jock as he received his bachelor’s degree in the midst of all the turmoil as well as recording an album. So Wave Runna is the perfect name as it seems many in the industry will be riding his wave for a long time.
