Emmy-winning musician Jabee has announced the Peace Needs Conference, which will be held at the Fordson Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, OK, from September 26 to September 28. Chuck D, the MC of Public Enemy, will be the main speaker.
“Get ready to join us as we come together to discuss the path to peace and community transformation,” said Jabee. “We’re excited to hear from incredible speakers and leaders as we address the circumstances of violence, the cost of violence, and how we can wage peace in our communities. Mark your calendars; we can’t wait to see you there!”
Set against the vibrant backdrop of downtown Oklahoma City from September 26 through the 28, the Peace Needs Conference is a crucial platform for addressing and combating neighborhood violence. Attendees will witness a convergence of tried-and-true peacemaking strategies from community organizing, the arts, education, dialogue, and advocacy. The objective is to truly address neighborhood violence, collaborate with local and national leaders, and seek advice from them. Your participation is vital in this collective effort to bring about positive change in our communities.
The conference’s primary goal is to leverage long-standing efforts to bridge divides and effect positive change across the political spectrum. LiveFree OKC is collaborating to develop a more varied ecosystem for policy innovation.
Jabee, on the other hand, is taking pleasure in the current wave of success brought about by the two singles from his most recent album, The Spirit is Willing, But the Flesh is Weak, that have garnered favorable reviews from The Source: “God Made Rap” and “No Love”.
“The Spirit Is Willing, But The Flesh Is Weak,” Jabee’s newest hip-hop masterpiece, will be available through Mello Music Group on October 20, 2024. Conductor Williams, Apollo Brown, Marv Won, Quelle Chris, and Evidence are the producers, and it’s a fun Eastside rap adventure. Each song is a testament to Jabee’s dedication and talent, sharing an uplifting tale of bravery and genuineness. The rapper cedes his role as a communal spokesperson by going into great detail about his own experiences. This album is not just music, it’s a journey that you don’t want to miss. Listen to Jabee on all music platforms.
