Post author By OnTheSceneNY
Post date February 21, 2023

Portland rapper Pricy starts 2023 with a bang, releasing his new album “Big Castle,” available now on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and more. One of the most prolific artists out of Portland in 2022, Pricy wastes no time dropping even more new music and proving why he’s been one of hip-hop’s best-kept secrets for years. Featuring the lead single “U Know What???,” Pricy takes his show on the road to Las Vegas bringing his lyrics to life with another classic music video filmed by Collective Films.

Drenched in retro and vintage samples, “Big Castle” is another well-thought-out and thorough project from Pricy displaying his one-of-a-kind wordplay and flow. Not many can put together words like Pricy can as he continues to tell his story all while staying true to the rules of the game. Handling a bulk of the production himself, Pricy also features production from Jeb 206, Smokerslung PDX, Mikey Vegaz, and B Slap’n. “Big Castle” marks Pricy’s 4th album in under a year and we can’t wait to see what’s next from this rising star.

Portland’s Sour Deez Tackles Racism, Police Brutality, & More On “Better Days” @SoxrD33z

Post author By Welshdagod
Post date August 5, 2020

Portland rising artist Sour Deez makes his return to The Source with his brand new single “Better Days” featuring Latitia Rae, Drae Steves, Ack Right.

Heartfelt and raw, Sour Deez holds no punches on his latest single letting listeners know everything that has been on his heart and mind. With racial tensions higher than ever, the artists are separating themselves from the rappers with their current content, and it’s clear where Deez stands. Breaking down exactly what he goes through as a Black man in America, Sour Deez enlisted perfectly timed guest verses from Ack Right and Drae Steves. With all eyes on Portland right now because of Trump deploying Federal Agents to combat protesters, it’s refreshing to see some of the art coming out of the city representing what happening on the street level. Vocalist Latitia Rae takes “Better Days” over the top with her soul-stirring chorus and message. With party anthems and cooled out smoke songs already available, Sour Deez shows his diversity and reach as an artist with his new single. Taking a deep listen to the lyrics you can tell these Portland artists are truly speaking from their heart on an issue they truly care about rather than using to moment to push their own movement.

Stay tuned with one of PDX’s finest Sour Deez and press play on his powerful new single “Better Days” available on all digital streaming platforms!

(Audio) Eso.Xo.Supreme – Body Talk @EsoXoSupreme @SuperStaarBeats @whoswyler

Post author By Welshdagod
Post date March 19, 2020

Portland R&B artist Eso.Xo.Supreme drops his first release of 2020 with the polarizing new single, “Body Talk.”

Connecting with producers, Super Staar Beats (Young Thug, G Herbo, SIXNINE, and more) x Whoswyler (Boosie Badazz, Ugly God, Kidd Keo, Suigeneris, D-Block Europe), Eso.Xo.Supreme keeps his sound updated with banging 808’s and an infectious flute melody that will have you pressing play over and over. Best known for his prolific output and signature pen game, Eso.Xo.Supreme has been grinding and building his fanbase up with one quality release after another. On “Body Talk,” Eso lists the vices that keep his power up and walks a fine line between Trap King and R&B Prince.

Diversity has never been a problem for this rising artist as his artistic influence is evident from visuals, artwork, and most obviously his one-of-a-kind sound. With all the recent talk of R&B being dead and the congruent success of artists including Brent Faiyaz, Tory Lanez, and more – Exo.Xo.Supreme is definitely another artist to add the list of people keeping the genre alive.

Tap in with one of music’s most promising rising underground talent in Eso.Xo.Supreme and his new single “Body Talk” available now on all digital streaming platforms!
