NICKI MINAJ ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE DATE FOR “FREAKY GIRL” AND PROMISES TO UNLEASH “NICK JAMES”

The release date of Nicki Minaj’s new song “Freaky Girl,” on which she pledges to emulate the late funk master Rick James, has been confirmed.

The Queen lyricist tweeted a lengthy message to her 25.5 million followers on Friday (July 22) that seems to herald the beginning of her “Nick James” phase, which appears to be inspired by the “Mary Jane” vocalist’s stage name among other things.

“#NickJames is coming to do what the girls SHOULD’VE done,” she began the tweet. “#NickJames is coming to show the girls why they should’ve just sat there & ate their foods. #NickJames is coming to show the boys how to REALLY gag the girls. Pauz #NickJames is coming to restore hope in mankind.”

The highly awaited “Freaky Girl” track, which Nicki previewed earlier this month via a revealing thirst trap video on Instagram, will be released on August 12 and will be immediately followed by the launch of a new episode of Queen Radio, according to a second tweet from the singer.

“August 11th #QueenRadio, August 12th #FreakyGirl,” Nicki wrote in the emoji-clad tweet.

Not long ago, Nicki Minaj expressed a desire to tone down the vulgarity that was prevalent in her music as a result of becoming a mother. Now, she appears to be getting ready to break the internet with a release that is similar to her seductive 2014 single “Anaconda” and appears to be sexually explicit.

This past February, Nicki spoke with The Dana Cortez Show and said: “My label wanted me to go full out with a single and everything when I was pregnant, and I couldn’t bring myself to put out a song about pussy and dicks and sucking and eating. I couldn’t bring myself to put a record out like that while my son was growing in my body!”

She added: “Nothing wrong with anybody who’s able to do it, but with me, I just felt in a very different, new space.”

Whatever the subject matter, Nicki’s next album will undoubtedly send her devoted fanbase, the Barbz, into a frenzy given that she recently revealed that Drake, a former Young Money labelmate, is working as an executive producer on it.

After starting the year off with the Lil Baby-assisted “Do We Have A Problem?” and “Bussin,” along with her collaborations with Fivio Foreign and HipHopDX’s 2022 Rising Star Coi Leray, “Freaky Girl” will be the latest track to be released by Nicki.

During a chaotic meet and greet in London, NICKI MINAJ CAPTURED SHOVING FAN ON CAMERA

During the mayhem of her postponed meet & greet in London on Monday, Nicki Minaj is alleged to have shoved a fan (July 11).

The Young Money superstar had planned to meet with fans at a location in Camden at noon, but once thousands of fans turned up, the event got out of hand. After arriving hours later than expected, Nicki was greeted by a crowd and forced to be taken back to her SUV before accelerating away.

The Pink Friday singer was seen shoving a fan in a since-deleted TikTok video from the hectic situation as she made her way on foot through the crowd to the venue. TikTok user @theyluviish ignored Nicki’s requests to “back up” and went in for a picture before receiving a stern shove in the back from the Queen artist.

“Nicki Minaj literally pushed me omg [crying face emoji,” the fan captioned the clip. “My fave literally touched me [crying face emoji] [heart-eyes emoji].” He added in the comments section of his video that he was “just happy Nicki touched” him.

Despite Nicki Minaj appealing with her followers to line up in a line outside the venue on Twitter, the meet-and-greet was finally postponed. On Monday night, Camden Police released a statement confirming that the event had been cancelled by the organizers owing to safety concerns.

Nicki later shared first-person video of the London audience on Instagram and commented, “My babies, I love you all so much. Thank you to the officers for helping us so much today.”

She also shared a video of her car speeding away from the venue while being pursued by a mob of yelling fans.

In a record lineup of all-female headliners over the course of the weekend, Nicki Minaj closed up London’s Wireless Festival on Sunday (July 10), after Cardi B on Friday (July 8) and SZA on Saturday. This was prior to her scheduled meet & greet (July 9).

Nicki’s highly anticipated performance, however, was cut short owing to the festival’s 9:30 p.m. curfew because to technical issues and a late start.

Nicki Minaj ignited a massive COVID-19 vaccination controversy on Twitter earlier this week, which quickly spread to major news outlets and a slew of internet sites.

The multi-platinum rapper announced on Monday (September 13) that she will not be attending the 2021 Met Gala since evidence of vaccination was necessary for entrance, and she wanted to conduct more “research” before receiving one.

She also stated that a friend of her Trinidadian cousin had the vaccination, which caused his testicles to enlarge, according to him. Of course, this sparked a barrage of jokes, some of which even made it to Trevor Noah’s Daily Show.

But according to CNN anchor Don Lemon, the White House was more than willing to educate Nicki on the vaccine. On Wednesday (September 15), Lemon tweeted, “A source tells CNN that @NICKIMINAJ was offered a conversation with a doctor to clarify the efficacy and side effects of the vaccine not a visit to the White House. A White House statement is coming shortly.”

Nicki Minaj looked enraged that her ideas were being questioned online, and she ended up attacking television host Joy-Ann Reid, whom she said had taken her remarks out of context.

T-PAIN SAYS NICKI MINAJ GHOSTED HIM IN THE STUDIO, SO NICKI MINAJ KEEP IT A BUCK.

Nicki Minaj isn’t afraid to confess that she’s made some blunders in her career. T-Pain issued an apology after going on record with The 85 South Show and claiming she never followed through on their promises to collaborate in 2007.

“We was about to work together and she stopped responding,” T-Pain clarified. “I was like, ‘Nick, let me know what’s going on.’ She was like, ‘Hey, I’m an artist too and I’m working on my shit so ya know. Baby, chill.’ And I was like, ‘Oh… My heart.’ Maybe I was in love with Nicki Minaj.” (theshaderoom)

Despite his disappointment, T-Pain remained confident that the move was not “malicious.”

Nicki Minaj swiftly addressed the failed collaborative effort in The Shade Room‘s comment section after viewing T-interview Pain’s and chastised herself for not accepting T-offer Pain’s at the time. T-Pain, after all, had a No. 1 Billboard album and was one of the hottest singers on the scene at the time.

“I don’t remember this AT ALL but it DEF sound like smthn I would say,” she wrote. “Omg what was I thinking? He was already a really big artist. I was still underground. Chileeeeee I used to b buggin yo. I was under so much pressure to deliver. My bad babe, all love. I have nthn but respect for your talent. and thank you & Kanye for clearing ‘Go Hard’ for Beam Me Up Scotty last month. Listening to you over & over on that record taught me SM about harmonies & background vocals. Your vocals on that song alone are GOATED FOR LIFE. I listened to every single detail. @tpain.”

Nicki Minaj has risen to prominence in the music business over the last 14 years, while T-Pain has collected a discography of solo work and guest appearances. Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz, O.T. Genasis, Russ, Profit Dinero, Tory Lanez, and Flipp Dinero all contributed to his most recent album, 1UP, which was released in 2019. However, unlike Epiphany, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the project only reached No. 115.

Queen, Nicki’s most recent proper studio album, was released in 2018 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. She just released an enhanced edition of her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty, which debuted at No. 2 in its first week.

In April, T-Pain discovered he’d also ghosted hundreds of celebs on Instagram, from Fergie to Diplo.
