NBA On his angry new song “Fuck The Industry Pt. 2,” YoungBoy has fired shots at Drake, J. Cole, and Lil Yachty.
On Friday (May 12), the rapper from Baton Rouge published his most recent album, Richest Opp, which included a song that flings verbal jabs at a number of well-known artists.
YoungBoy begins by referring to Drake as his “enemy” and labeling him a “bitch,” making reference to the 6 God’s friendship with Lil Durk, and asserting that he refused to collaborate with him despite enjoying his music.
“Talk to Drake ‘cross FaceTime, he wasn’t feelin’ me/ Told me that he fuck with Durk, damn, that shit was gettin’ to me/ Told me that he like the shit I’m doin’, but can’t do shit with me/ So when we cross our ways, fuck what you say, bitch, you my enemy,” he snarls.
In recent years, Drizzy has frequently teamed up with Durk, YoungBoy’s fierce opponent, on songs like 2020’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” and his Certified Lover Boy album track “In the Bible.”
Then, NBA YoungBoy calls J. Cole, who is featured on Durk’s brand-new song, “All My Life,” which was also released on Friday, a “ho” for allegedly ghosting him after they agreed to collaborate.
“J a ho, that n-gga played it cold, like he was gon’ do a feature/ So I texted his line, a muscle sign, I swear it’s gon’ be nice to meet you,” he raps.
J. Cole allegedly waited eight hours in the studio for NBA YoungBoy in March 2021, but the rapper never showed up, according to Akademiks.
“J. Cole waited in the studio for eight hours for YoungBoy to show up,” Ak said. “YoungBoy didn’t show up. Facts. These are facts! Your favorite rapper, n-gga. J. Cole? He sat in the studio for eight hours for a session with YoungBoy. YoungBoy never showed up. Let me be fair to YoungBoy. No disrespect to J. Cole, J. Cole’s just a rapper.”

NBA YoungBoy finishes the vicious song by criticizing Lil Yachty for his previous connection with JT from City Girls.

Yachty replied to YoungBoy’s attack on Twitter immediately after the album’s release, but neither Drake nor J. Cole have yet provided a response. The Atlanta rapper shared a brief video of 50 Cent exclaiming, “I mean, what he say ‘fuck me’ for?!” in shock.
YoungBoy responded with a video of his own, claiming Yachty had “checked” him for shooting JT while they were still together.
Before laughing, he said, “Yachty crazy than a muthafucka. Aye bitch, you got me laughing over here, boy. Bitch, you know why I said that, mane. You called me talking about that crazy ass girl, boy,”

Young Lo, a friend of Chris Brown, reportedly died after being shot outside a Miami nightclub.
The rapper, actual name Lowell Grissom, was shot on Monday at 4 a.m. ET at Miami’s Gala club, according to CBS (May 8). He was taken by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he passed away.
Two further ladies were shot, but they are anticipated to recover fully from their wounds and live. According to a person who spoke with CBS, Lo was the focus of the attack.
Lo, who has worked with artists like Chris Brown (“Everybody”) and is presently an A&R for Hitmaka’s MakaSound label, has established himself as a well-known personality and dot connection in the music industry.
Many musicians, including Ty Dolla $ign, Davido, Hitmaka, Sean Kingston, 600Breezy, Karrueche, Tyla Yaweh, DJ Drama, Lady London, and more, left heartfelt comments on Lo’s most recent Instagram post, which was published only hours before he passed away.
