The narrative of “Broski” centers around Joyner and a friend from his youth. Joyner sings about a buddy who first tells him how happy he is of him, then begs him for money since he has been there for him, and then expresses how resentful and envious he is of his “friend” Joyner and his success.

(EP) Coline Creuzot – “Hearts Don’t Break Even” @ColineCreuzot

Houston born and bred 3X Billboard charting R&B artist Coline Creuzot has released the new EP. Entitled Hearts Don’t Break Even, the project is a sensually imaginative and vividly retrospective sunset drive through the highs and lows of romantic relationships.

A whirlwind of ethereal harmonies that fill you with butterflies collide over an array of soul-striking beats and serendipitous sonics. Creuzot’s vocal is a beacon of grace as she expresses acceptance for her lost love while finding strength and independence within herself. Hearts Don’t Break Even will move you toward a state of reflection with language that strikes the chord of being human and instrumentals that transcend the surface of reality.

Ebony Magazine was right to call Creuzot an “artist at the forefront”. Creuzot is a 3X Billboard charting artist and has received high acclaim from Rolling Stone, BET, Ladygunn, Essence, Earmilk, and VIBE to name a few.

(Video) ChinaTownRunner x Star2 x $tupid Young – “Static” @Star2Official @dollasignyoungg

ChinaTownRunner and Star2 each got their start at the very same Mae La refugee camp and have used their stories of persistence to inspire their music. “Static” ft. Star2 and $tupid Young is an explosive personal profile that zeroes in on each rapper’s quest for truth in the face of a cold world. An intense set of multi-faceted vocals collide over a cataclysm of dynamic beats, hard hitting bass, and resonant piano to produce the one-of-a-kind sonic atmosphere that fills “Static” to the brim.

Directed by Chico Bennett, the music video for “Static” captures ChinaTownRunner, Star2, and $tupid Young in a wild desert landscape. The desolate atmosphere and grueling influence of nature lends to the deep-cut lyrics at play.

“Static” is only just the beginning of this trio’s iconic presence as the three rappers have upcoming shows together in Phoenix and Denver. For ChinaTownRunner and Star2 in particular, “Static” follows the trail of their historic first single together, “Lavish”. ChinaTownRunner finds joy in performing for his people, the Karen, in communities throughout South Dakota and Minnesota and celebrating his core identity.

(Video) Star2 x Lil Poppa x $tupid Young – “Gangstas” @Star2Official @dollasignyoungg @ThatBoyPoppa

Star2 is stamping his footprint on the future of Asian-American hip-hop with his adrenaline pumping beats and vividly rich visuals that tell a story of grit. His latest music video for “Gangstas” alongside $tupid Young and Lil Poppa is an immersive trip through the subconscious scars each artist has endured on their climb toward greatness.

“Gangstas” will set your pulse racing with dark lashes of piano, mesmerizing beats that cast shadows over the gloom, and intrepid vocals that ruminate on each rapper’s difficult past. Directed by Chico Bennett, the music video takes place at a haunting church adorned with holy icons that add to the inescapable gravity of “Gangstas”. Each rapper bears their soul from the confines of a confession booth, praying in the pews or gazing up toward the heavens in search of a better future. $tupid Young raps, “Life is like a game of chess, you better watch how you move.” “Gangstas” will immerse you in the cavernous bends of each artist’s inner-psyche as they walk through memories full of danger and deceit.

Star2 and $tupid Young recently collaborated on their EP entitled Different Breed. Together, these two rappers are shaping the trajectory for Asian-American hip-hop to come. Star2 has worked alongside the likes of Soulja Boy, Luh Kel, and HoodTrophy Bino to name a few. The “Gangstas” music video continues his legacy of hard-hitting beats laced tight with experiential lyricism.

(Audio) Prince of Buckhead – Missouri @princeofbuckhead

“You gotta show me, baby, I’m from Missouri,” Prince of Buckhead recites, cleverly playing on the “Show Me State” moniker. Spitting bars about having the juice and a good time, sonically, the song is a boozy party song filled with catchy melodies, bells, and 808’s all the makings of a trap banger. You can catch this song on all streaming platforms, OVO’s 42 Sound Radio, and clubs nationwide. A dancing, bumping, anthem celebrating bodacious booties, and a gateway to a good time, “Missouri” is the summer ass-throwing anthem we didn’t know we needed.”
