IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET RELEASE ON BOND, AN NBA YOUNGBOY PROPOSES RELOCATING TO UTAH

Since his arrest in March, NBA YoungBoy has been held in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in St. Martinville, Louisiana, on weapons and narcotics allegations.

YB’s legal team’s newest plan to win their client’s freedom entails him relocating full-time to his Utah house, despite the fact that he’s been refused bond many times. YoungBoy — born Kentrell Gaulden — had his attorneys make their case for relocation during a public hearing on Monday, according to The Advocate (October 18).

Chief U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick had already rejected the idea of awarding YoungBoy Never Broke Again bail and has expressed no interest in altering her mind, citing  “reckless, illegal and dangerous behavior.”  Dick’s decision has yet to be announced as of press time.

In exchange for his possible Utah release, the Baton Rouge native will be subjected to tight house imprisonment, with a home studio erected to allow him to continue working. YoungBoy also promised to hire a private security force to monitor and safeguard his estate’s grounds against unwanted guests.

YoungBoy has just acquired a home in North Utah so that he could be closer to one of his boyhood instructors. He has allegedly spent the last decade in Utah with her extended family, staying out of trouble whenever he visits the Mormon State.

Another stumbling block to his release is the fact that the 21-year-old was allegedly involved in a recent brawl within the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.

Despite being jailed, NBA YoungBoy managed to top the charts by becoming the third rapper to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following 2Pac and Lil Wayne, with his Sincerely, Kentrell album, which was released in September.
