The evolution of music has come full circle introducing the new generation to the original creators of Hip Hop. From utilizing hits formulated in the 90’s to cultivate what seems new to many today, brings memories to those who were there. Forcing us to recognize and give respect to the people who helped pave the way like Label NYC.

Sharing the same birthplace as Hip Hip, New York City became the stomping grounds for the young influential mind of Label NYC. Being inspired by local artists from labels such as Bad Boy, Roc a Fella, Dipset and artists like the Fugees, Label NYC created the magic of his music by mixing the roots of Hip Hop with the cultural island sounds of Haiti. His musical successes led him to opening performances for Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco. Label has also had collaborations with Hitmaka

Now with a new project at hand we can only sit back and anxiously wait to see what new innovations Label NYC will surprise us with next.

Her passion for music began at 8 years old & officially started making music at age 15 years old. She won 1st place in a rapping contest at age 16, for BDL4Life Magazine. She dropped her first EP at age 18 years old titled 8/28 and she has opened up for Rod Wave. Her inspirations are Sade, Tupac, Nas, J Dilla, and Nicki Minaj. She has upcoming music, music videos, events, and EP project dropping in November 2021. The project will be full of clever concepts, creative delivery and beats that are slapping. Her EP will tell a vivid story from start to finish. We look forward to watching Laniyah West blow up out the south and grow among the fans. San Diego based Asian-American singer, songwriter and rapper Star2 just released his all new single and visuals for “I Wanna Get F’d Up,” featuring acclaimed St. Louis rapper Luh Kel.

“I Wanna Get F’d Up” conveys the message of heartbreak, loss, and disillusionment. Star2 confides, “”I wanted to write a song with the backstory of the best relationship of your life that blows up out of nowhere leaving you wondering what happened- leaving you in pain and wanting to self-medicate. It was a dream come true to do a song with Luh Kel, my dude. Our song is the diary of a toxic relationship with a toxic shawty you loved heart and soul who cheated. Even though it’s hard because you really love that one person – there is at least one time for everyone when after a breakup you just want to be gone – gone from the universe.”

In the accompanying video for “I Wanna Get F’d Up,” Star2 and Luh Kel replay the song’s narrative using imaginative imagery complete with CGI and brilliant, post-apocalyptic landscapes. Star2 adds, “Making this video with Luh Kel was dope as hell. We used CGI (computer generated imagery) with a green screen to make Luh Kel’s car fly and to make me fall hundreds of feet backwards off a cliff into the ocean – swimming underwater.”

Star2 is an artist who seamlessly blends pop, R&B and hip-hop for an enthralling immersion of sound. Raised in inauspicious circumstances and born into a refugee camp in Thailand, Star2 takes influence from overcoming his life struggles, creating music that is bold, high-spirited and soulful.

Fre$h is back with his first single/visual, “Yea Yeah” off his upcoming album #NothingChangedButTheName which drops December 3rd.

“When I thought about the video for this song I was instantly upset that my Porsche got totaled and wouldn’t be able to get a cameo. I reached out to my boy, Matt Leblanc, who owns a dealership with a bunch of old school Porsche’s and he allowed me to capture scenes there. I came up with the idea to stage a robbery using the concept from the movie “Point Break” wearing ex-president masks and to keep it fun we went with nerf guns instead of actual ones. With this being one of my favorites off the album and the first single it has to set the tone of what’s to be expected. #NothingChangedButTheName”
