LAPD SEIZES VIDEO OF ALLEGED A$AP ROCKY SHOOTING AS WEAPON HUNT CONTINUES

A$AP The Los Angeles Police Department recently investigated Rocky’s house in connection with a November 2021 shooting, and officers discovered many firearms as they sought to gather relevant evidence. The weapons, however, did not match the ones used in the shooting, according to TMZ.

The weapons weren’t the weapon they were seeking for “on the spot,” since none of them matched the caliber, which detectives were able to identify using bullet shells seized at the crime scene. Police checked the serial numbers of the firearms and discovered that they had all been lawfully purchased by Rocky, so they decided to leave them on the property.

It’s not all good news for the rapper, either. The Los Angeles Police Department now claims to have video evidence of the incident, which they believe originated from a surveillance camera. The district attorney has yet to determine whether or not to prosecute Rocky.

According to police, the suspect fled on foot with two other guys after the gunshot, which resulted in a minor injury that was treated.

On April 20, Rocky was detained for assault with a dangerous weapon at Los Angeles International Airport. After paying $550,000 bond, he was freed from the L.A. County Jail the same day.
