Meet “Ratxhet” Next Big Artist Coming Out of Florida

Born September 4th 1993 in Brooklyn New York, the Peruvian rapper known as Ratxhet has made the East side of Orlando his stomping grounds and ultimately solidified his spot on the rap scene.

One of his very first video releases in 2014 titled “WARLANDO” blew up and went viral opening up the eyes of many and even made the local news, from that point the city knew it had a star in their midst. A real one never forgets where he comes from. You can see he shows love to his birthplace New York shooting videos like “Just Bars”, and “Glockie” there. His most recent drop the remix to Pooh Shiestys “Back in blood” doing major numbers right now with 150k views on YouTube in a month, it’s getting harder to ignore his stardom.

Since he was young he has been spitting bars for fun at first but there is no cap in his rap. There will always be haters but the support from the city of Orlando is undeniable. Ratxhet is one of the most streamed artists coming out of Orlando with 250k monthly listeners on Spotify all while his YouTube subscribers are at 3.1k and are on the rise. Though many claim to be the best out of Orlando Fl, one thing is for certain, numbers do not lie. With his NY style combined with FL vibe Ratxhet has made a lane all on his own but pays homage to his influencers such as Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Bobby Shmurda, Lil Durk and Pop Smoke.

Queen of New Jersey “Boom Boom Knuckles” @boomboomgotit

Alexsandrina “Boom Boom Knuckles” Mavrianos is an entrepreneur changing the music industry one deal at a time. The New Jersey based go-getter sets the bar high while making good business an even higher priority.

Starting as an artist herself at a young age, Boom Boom Knuckles started realizing she was destined to help talented individuals get the recognition they deserve. Her father, who was her number one supporter saw her vision and built a music studio in her basement. When the doors would shut her father was there to help any way he could to get them to open. When he passed away, Boom was devastated and completely stopped doing music. After years of not doing what she loved the most, something clicked that would change her look on the industry entirely. She knew that guiding and teaching others as her father did would bring the peace and clarity of what the young mogul was searching for.

“Ive come along way. Ive been through hell and back but learned so much along the way. If I can help someone get where they need to be I will. Its just in my nature. And I thank my father for that.”

Boom Boom Knuckles then began working with Power 105.1’s DJ SussOne and his brand, TheFeaturePresentation, writing articles on his platform. Meek Mill’s “Oodles Of Noodles” had just dropped and producer Butter Beats, who Boom had known for awhile from being in the game, gave her an interview without any hesitation landing her first exclusive on the first day on the job. Boom continued to break the mold time and time again from exclusives with Justin Love, Sneaker Games, Dave East, Rich The Kid, HaHa Davis, Kush Papi, Mike Ruga, Somaya Reece, Kay Thoth, Roc Nation’s Rel Carter, Devin White, Savannah, Montana Of 300 and many many more. She started getting the recognition she much so deserved, but it wasn’t enough. She wanted to be able to help an artist not only get recognition now, but give them the opportunity she never got.

Little did she know that she was about to embark on a journey she always hoped for. Boom Boom then linked with the founder of Million Dollar Music Group (MDM), Rocky Lee helping establish his company landing her the first VP of A&R position at his company. She then connected the dots to bringing in her long time business partner and childhood friend Anthony “AMAC” McDonald and his label AMAC Entertainment to the table where history is starting to be built.

The new single’s boom-bap soundscape, produced by multi-platinum producer Buckwild (Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Beastie Boys, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Big L,) underscores Jake’s slick lyricism, setting the perfect tone for his debut offering. Premiered via HipHopSince1987, the video features the actual public housing Jake grew up in, as well as his dad and little cousin – a true rags to wall street story. “Boss Thoughts” is available everywhere now, watch the video HERE.

“I am a product of my environment growing up poor in rural upstate NY,” Jake explains to HipHopSince1987. “On my first single, I wanted people to feel my struggles and past traumas translated into my motivation for more. I touch on my friend passing, my best friend getting locked up, and my other best friend getting shot 7 times, as well as my ability to persevere despite it all. On the technical side, the song shows my lyrical abilities. I’m really spitting on a boom-bap instrumental produced by one of the pioneers of the sound – that alone felt crazy.”

Investment banker by day, rapper by night. Coming up in rural upstate New York, pursuing music was low on Jake James’ list of career paths. His love for writing began at five and he recalls writing poetry as his parents played Jazz and Soul oldies.

Jake figured that education would be his easiest way out. At fifteen, he used his top-tier SAT scores to apply for college and was accepted. In college, Jake studied finance, ran his own small equity fund, and began touring small shows in various markets, opening for notable established acts, including G-Unit, Dave East, and Moneybagg Yo. Eventually Jake organically sold-out NYC’s legendary venue, SOB’s on his own. Jake’s talent has garnered the attention and respect of acclaimed producer Statik Selektah and even the iconic Notorious B.I.G.’s producer, Buckwild.

From public housing to portfolios, Jake has an unthinkable story to tell, with the release of “Boss Thoughts” and more new music on the way, Jake James is poised for a breakout year.
