LIL WEEZYANA FEST IS BEING HOLDEN BY LIL WAYNE UNTIL OCTOBER

Due to “unforeseen circumstances,” Lil Wayne has decided to postpone his planned Lil WeezyAna Fest until October.

Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Coi Leray, and Rob 49 are among the artists on the list for the event, which was previously scheduled to return to Champions Square in New Orleans on August 27. The new date is October 29, however.

“It is with my sincerest apologies that I must announce…due to unforeseen circumstances, Lil Weezyana Fest will be postponed until Oct 29,” Wayne said in a statement on Instagram.

“To my fans, you know I always want to deliver the best show possible and we hope this has not inconvenienced you in anyway. The festival was sold out thanks to you. Please hold on you to your tickets and I will see you in October. I promise to make it up to you and to my city. Love.”

Tickets for Lil WeezyAna, presented by Live Nation Urban, began on sale back in July. Every ticket sold will provide $0.50 to educational programs for kids in New Orleans.

“We’re glad to be back home,” When the event was announced, Young Money President Mack Maine made a statement.  “New Orleans birthed us and we can travel and hit the stage anywhere in the world, but there’s no place like home!”

“As always, we will be honoring the many lives lost in Hurricane Katrina as this year marks the 17th year anniversary. Wayne is excited to get back home as this one will be one you won’t want to miss!”

The Young Money rapper’s former aide is suing him after allegedly being hit in the jaw during an argument on Wayne’s private plane, according to other Lil Wayne stories.

Wayne, Young Money Entertainment, and a business named Signature Flight Support are the targets of Andrew Williams’ lawsuit for undisclosed damages. Williams charged the defendants with assault, violence, intentional infliction of mental distress, wrongful termination, and carelessness in court records acquired by RadarOnline. Wayne has not yet addressed Williams’ assertions.

Fans are left perplexed about Lil Wayne and Pusha T when a videotape of them appearing in an advertisement to launch the 2018 NFL season appeared online.

Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” can be heard playing in the background as the video, which surfaced online on Thursday (August 25), shows Weezy and King Push showing up in a gym for an NFL pep rally.

Saweetie, Young Dylan, TikTok/YouTube star Frankie LaPenna, Buffalo Bills “Mafia” superfan Pinto Ron, professional boxer Ryan Garcia, Seattle Seahawks player DK Metcalf, Los Angeles Chargers player Derwin James, and New Orleans Saints player Cam Jordan are among the other celebrities who appear in the commercial.
