SNOOP DOGG BECOMES ANIMATED IN NEW ‘DOGGYLAND’ CHILDREN’S SERIES

You can see an episode of Doggyland, a brand-new animated children’s series created by Snoop Dogg, below.

The Death Row rapper teams up with October London, a regular collaborator and the Emmy-nominated creator of the children’s franchise Hip Hop Harry, on the show, which is officially named Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes.

Doggyland, which can be seen on YouTube, is a show that “promotes social emotional development as well as age related cognitive development” in preschoolers. It stars a cast of animated dogs including Bow Wizzle (voiced by Snoop), Wags, Yap Yap, Chow Wow, and Barks-A-Locks.

Every dog in the program is distinctive in color and shape to support diversity and inclusion while also covering a broad range of interesting themes such alphabet, numbers, colors, animals, good habits, cleanliness, embracing others, and more.

“As a father, grandfather and longtime youth football coach, it’s always been important to me to build positive and educational environments for all children,” Snoop said in a statement. “We wanted to bring our show to YouTube and YouTube Kids which provides free access to everyone, so all the kids can enjoy it.”

He continued: “I’ve always wanted to create a kid friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the culture with everything from the music to the characters.

“When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, Hip Hop Harry, which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.”

Doggyland has four episodes accessible right now; new episodes will start appearing every Tuesday.
