Young Lo, a friend of Chris Brown, reportedly died after being shot outside a Miami nightclub.
The rapper, actual name Lowell Grissom, was shot on Monday at 4 a.m. ET at Miami’s Gala club, according to CBS (May 8). He was taken by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he passed away.
Two further ladies were shot, but they are anticipated to recover fully from their wounds and live. According to a person who spoke with CBS, Lo was the focus of the attack.
Lo, who has worked with artists like Chris Brown (“Everybody”) and is presently an A&R for Hitmaka’s MakaSound label, has established himself as a well-known personality and dot connection in the music industry.
Many musicians, including Ty Dolla $ign, Davido, Hitmaka, Sean Kingston, 600Breezy, Karrueche, Tyla Yaweh, DJ Drama, Lady London, and more, left heartfelt comments on Lo’s most recent Instagram post, which was published only hours before he passed away.
Mally Mall wrote: “This isn’t right… you always loved protected and stood up for anyone and everyone … I’m beyond heartbroken this world is becoming overbearing.”

According to reports, Lo and Ray J were good friends. The incident concludes a busy weekend on South Beach, which on Sunday played home to the F1 2023 Miami Grand Prix (May 7).
After learning the heartbreaking news on Monday, Chris Breezy shared a tribute on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Love you bro. Rest up MY BROTHER.”
The Gala nightclub added: “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the isolated and targeted incident that occurred last night at our upscale establishment.”
Young Lo moved from California to Miami, leaving behind a kid who is six years old. As of the time of publication, no arrests had been made in the case.
Chris Brown just launched NAMI, a line of 3-D printed shoes, to diversify his commercial ventures.
Although the singer only said May without providing a specific date, it is probable that the shoes will be available soon.
