(Video) Cue – Ayo

Nigerian artist Cue’s newly released visual “Ayo” is relatable across many demographics of people. Dates in the park, intimate dinners, and the prolonged uncertainty of where the night will go is a part of social norms. With time, those in relationships can relate to experiencing a profound emotion towards someone they care for deeply. Painted in his native Igbo language, sprinkled with pidgin, we can get the sense that this young man has no problem making his loved one feel cherished when they’re together. The slow sensual afro-beats cascades into listeners’ ears setting the mood to engage in romantic activity.

Wil Akogu Drops Off Fierce New Visual For Single “RIOT” @WilAkogu

Rising hip-hop artist Wil Akogu delivers a vibrant and cinematic visual for his newest single “RIOT.” Directed by Chris Vergara and Wil himself, the music video is stimulating with its graphic nature and vivid treatment of color. The anthemic record has Wil riding over the beat as he visually rolls deep with his crew. With hard-hitting bars on a hard-hitting beat, Wil’s approach to the song is a riot in itself; energizing and easy to get swept up in.

“”RIOT” is about taking back control and owning it. Whatever that means to you.”

– Wil Akogu

Wil Akogu is a Nigerian, LA-based recording artist, producer, songwriter, and creator. Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria and moving to the states at 11, he spent his teenage years in the northwest suburbs of Chicago before juxtaposing between both Chicago and LA.
