(Video) Toolie Ru – No Pressure @Toolieru @lordnarf

Post author By OnTheSceneNY
Post date July 22, 2022

Upcoming Florida artist Toolie Ru releases his new single “No Pressure.” Referencing struggles he has encountered in his life, Toolie tells these stories through the music. Despite the adversity, Toolie Ru looks on the brighter side of his shortcomings. The fast paced beat, produced by Imperial, is appropriate for the summer, encouraging listeners to vibe with the song and also think about how they overcame struggle. Lord Narf’s verse heightens the positivity of the song, visually reminding us that we are not alone and eventually the problem will pass. To commemorate his grandfather, Toolie Ru recorded the video in a private jet because his grandfather liked to travel. The setting enforces Toolie Ru’s fondness for family and the exclusivity of his inner circle. Everyone does not have access and can get in. The biggest take away for listeners is that struggle is something we all have experienced; thus, we shouldn’t let it get the best of us.

Florida artist Russo releases his motivational anthem “Take It.” The song, perfect for pursuing summer aspirations, informs listeners to break through barriers and disregard doubters. During his youth, Russo faced hard times, but he persevered through his misfortunes. Rather than remain trapped in a victim mentality, “Take It” finds Russo lavishly cruising through pristine waters and with opulent views. Layered in meaning, the decadent visuals serve as a reminder that sometimes we have to take life into our own hands to accomplish what we want.

The amount of talent to come out of Florida in recent years has been quite impressive, especially with the assistance of the internet and social media. The distinctive Florida bounce has been hard to miss following the tone set in the 90’s from the likes of Trina and Trick Daddy. Newcomers, such as rap artist C Glizzy who comes from Pompano Beach, Florida, is adding to this soundscape while also bringing a fresh new perspective to the industry.

What’s most impressive about C Glizzy’s artistry is his ability to deliver a sound that is raw and uncut but has fans still bobbing their heads along to it. His most recent project Numb the Pain is a prime example of this, which makes it hard to believe that he’s only been rapping professionally for under three years. He talks about the experience he faced after getting shot in the head, which gave him not only a new focus on life, but a renewed energy for his music. C Glizzy, whose birth name is Christian Moore, draws a lot of inspiration from rappers like DMX, Chief Keef, and 2 Pac who found their own ways of expressing their pain through music.

The young rapper notes the importance of having a plan and following it through. “If you gone be out here in the world, don’t be half stepping,” he explains. “You better have a plan.” His plan to take over the industry is in full motion with him already opening for charting artists like Polo G, Lil Tecca, Smokepurpp, and Lil Mosey. While he’s been able to perform across the nation, Florida is still true to his heart and he’s preparing to release an EP titled Florida Boyz with an intent to bring together the hottest up and coming artists out of Florida. His new single featuring Foolio is set to release soon as well.

Arriving as the next breakout star out of Florida, buzzing Miami rapper Rellyski is propelling to new heights with the release of his forthcoming material. Driven by a consuming urge to establish himself as an industry staple and with early co-signs from Derrick Milano and Major Nine, Rellyski is here to make his mark as an artist to watch in 2021 and beyond. Out of his tough upbringing was birthed survival, and an overwhelming urge to be successful that’s shown on full display in the 22-year-old phenomenon’s music.

Attending college on a football scholarship, Rellyski found himself struggling to make ends meet and picked up the microphone as a substitution. In 2018, he left school to pursue his dreams and ultimately give his family a better life, drawing inspiration from prior hardships and the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, and Eminem.

Now having inked a deal with Bad Habit and Atlantic Records in early 2021, the newcomer unveils the official music video for “Flowers.” The introspective track showcases his raw, rhyming skills and effortless ability to deliver relatable lyrics. “Flowers” is a motivating record that arrives ahead of his label debut project, dropping later this year via Bad Habit / Atlantic Records. “I feel like it’s really going to broadcast me to the world,” Rellyski shares about the project. “It’s really me saying that I’ve received opportunities that aren’t common where I come from.”

(Video) JoeVille feat. KenTheMan – It’s Whatever @j0eville @imkentheman

Post date June 5, 2021

With the release of his late 2020 project CLRD Dreams, JoeVille has it made clear that his musical output is second to none. First galvanizing fans in his home state of Florida and now taking his talents nationwide, the rap upstart’s ceiling is as high as ever. Not one to rest on his laurels, JoeVille returns with the official visual for the KenTheMan assisted single “It’s Whatever” just in time for the summer. The duo compliments each other perfectly on the Banbwoi-produced beat, dropping gems on how to get one’s money up while enjoying the life of a bonafide hustler.

Recorded fresh off the release of JoeVille’s breakout single “Sexy,” the infectious track creates a vibrant playground for each artist to bring in their own regional influences and stylistic flair. Speaking on the collaboration, JoeVille explains how KenTheMan fits in seamlessly with his high-energy flow, noting how the song has “a Memphis bounce mixed with a Florida-meets-Houston sound that blended together very smoothly.” Drawing inspiration from the comedic thrill ride and cult-classic film Spring Breakers, the accompanying visual for “It’s Whatever” features the two rappers flexing their nonchalance when it comes to getting paid, crafting a stress-free and poolside banger for the summer.
