Doja Cat has fired back at a Twitter user for telling her to “grow up.” The exchange took place on Tuesday (August 3) after the Planet Her singer/rapper tweeted, “People r so fucking dumb istg it’s terrifying.” The person replied, “Can you please grow up lmao. All you do is come online and rant about stuff. never anything positive or being grateful. Just constant negativity, it’s so embarrassing and sad tbh.”
Doja Cat snarled, “Shut the fuck up nerd, nobody gives a fuck,” in a snap. She made an effort to continue, “Pathetic. find a new hobby you fucking ghoul. you’re obsessed with me you fucking dog find another hobby,” she responded, although Twitter “allowed” her comment to anything following her original remark.
Like everyone else, Doja Cat often vented her displeasure on social media. But because of her fame, news about her behavior frequently breaks. For instance, she and Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp recently got into a fight after the 17-year-old spilled private DMs about her obsession on Joseph Quinn, who also happens to be his co-star.
“I think that, to be fair, let’s try to be chill about it,” she said via Instagram Live. “Like Noah is a kid, but, I don’t even know how old he is, but he can’t be over – like there’s no way he’s over 21. But when you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb shit. I’m like trying to be super fair.
“You do dumb shit, you say dumb shit, you fucking, fuck up relationships with people. You make mistakes. Like you’re supposed do that so that you know you’re not supposed to do that in the future. I did my share of fuck ups so that I don’t fuck up again.”
Later, Schnapp revealed to his followers that they had spoken privately and made peace. Schnapp stated, “Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings,” in a TikTok video posted on July 13. The song “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat was playing in the background.
However, Akademiks wasn’t so readily excused. He revealed some of Doja Cat’s private communications to him last month, in which she refers to the media star as a “low-life piece of shit” and other derogatory terms. View the video below.
