THE WOMAN AT THE CENTER OF THE BRUTAL MURDER OF TROUBLE BREAKS HER SILENCE

Trouble’s assassination in Atlanta sent shockwaves across the Hip Hop scene and beyond. When her ex-boyfriend broke into her apartment and shot him in the chest, killing him, the 35-year-old artist was apparently sleeping in a woman’s bed. The lady who was at the core of the tragic domestic violence episode has now spoken up.

“It took a lot for me to put my page back up,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I don’t like the evil things that’s being said about me all the false narratives & the threats. I don’t have nothing to prove to social media to the ones who know me personally know my heart is gold & my story will be told…this situation has mentally messed me up and traumatized me. God got me. LL Trouble. My Angel.”

Trouble was shot and died early Sunday morning (June 5) about 3 a.m. The arrest warrant for Jamichael Jones, the woman’s former live-in lover and the guy police claim is responsible for his death, was acquired by CBS46 reporter Tori Cooper.

Jones allegedly awakened the woman up by striking her in the face, resulting in a fight between Jones and the Def Jam Recordings musician, according to the documentation. Jones is accused of pulling out a gun during the fight, shooting Trouble once in the chest, and fleeing the scene. When deputies arrived at the residence, they located him resting on the floor and took him to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Jones and the lady had been together for around three years, but she had lately broken up with him because he was “jobless” and unable to pay his bills. Jones reportedly hit her in the face and left when she abandoned him. Despite the fact that she had phoned the cops, she never completed the report.
