Recently finishing a 7-year sentence, Flatbush native King Mean has returned to the streets of the Big Apple with a renewed focus on life. Hitting the studio quickly, King Mean has taking his rhyme book which carried him through his darkest nights in prison and has turned his penmanship into a considerable amount of quality records.

The kick-starter is his street anthem, Made Me, an ode to those who doubted and even lied about the role they have played in his redemption. A product of the gritty streets of Flatbush, King Mean is no stranger to struggle and possesses a fortitude which he has directly applied to his hustle in music. After making the NY Daily News under the headlines, “Brooklyn Stickup Punks Boxed In” he looks to publicize in a much more positive and progressive manner as he has plans to take Hip Hop by storm.

Working tirelessly on his album titled “Sacrifices,” King Mean has been making his rounds allowing his presence and art to be felt by the masses.

The city of Atlanta is known for providing Hip Hop fans with new stars on a regular basis. The past few years has been no different. Now, with 2017 winding down, a newcomer looks to stake his claim and gain the same mainstream notoriety as his peers, 24Heavy. A native of ATL’s West Side Vince City aka The Bluff, Heavy grew up with some of today’s most notable artists including YFN Lucci, Ralo, Nick Grant, Young Scooter and more. So much so, that Heavy still recalls recording some of his earliest music at Lucci’s home.

Following a 6-year legal set back, Heavy released his debut project “Heavy World” this past summer under the umbrella of Atlanta’s rising independent label Never Eat Alone Entertainment. Following the release, his single “Sacrifices” began gaining traction in the streets of Atlanta. Inspired by personal life situations, the track has heavy 808s and trap drums, which have become synonymous with his city. Today, he unveils the official music video for “Sacrifices.”
