The project showcases a more vulnerable side of Mia, the problems she encounters day to day, and how she copes through it all. Reign, a hit single from the project has over 2500 plays and her music video Tonight, released April 24, has over 1400 on YouTube.

The title of the project, Waves, describes Mia’s constant battle with herself and her desire to mediate frequencies that seem out of her control.
