Syko Bob, a rapper for Kodak Black, was given a five-year jail term for gun possession.
Despite the lack of information, Syko (actual name Cambrel Smart) entered a plea of guilty on December 1, 2022.
A Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper stopped the Kodak Black affiliate on January 5, 2022, at about 3:00 a.m. when he was seen speeding on I-75 in Collier County, Florida, according to local news source NBC 2.
When the rapper’s car was inspected, the troopers discovered a loaded revolver between the front and back passenger-side seats and a small bag of marijuana in the center console.
The rapper Sky the Snipe was allegedly charged with a DUI, carrying a concealed firearm, having a firearm or ammunition in their possession while they were felons in prison, having more than 20 grams of marijuana in their possession, and having a controlled substance without a prescription, according to an alleged copy of the jail records that was found on Instagram.
The 29-year-old earlier gained notoriety after being hurt in a drive-by shooting in April as one of three victims. According to the Sun Sentinel, Syko and two other males were reportedly shooting at a black BMW that drew up to them while they were driving in a Lauderhill, Florida area.
While the BMW kept firing bullets, the rapper attempted to flee but crashed into two other moving vehicles. According to reports, someone in Syko’s vehicle fired back before the BMW took off and hit a van.
When the cops arrived, both vehicles had been abandoned and the road was covered in shell shells. “All three victims,” who had been taken to the hospital by witnesses after the shooting, “refused to cooperate with the investigation and provided no details on the events.” according to Lt. Michael Santiago.
Syko Following the event, Bob told his 116,000 fans on Instagram Live that everything was OK and that nothing had happened to him.
“Please stop talking about ‘get well’ when shit ain’t wrong,” he said. “Don’t send me shit about no ‘get well’ no more when shit ain’t happen to me.”
