KING VON MURDER MESSED UP HIS SHOW MONEY, SAYS RONDO

With COVID-19 lockdowns being lifted around the country, rappers are searching for performance bookings to make up for the year they missed out on.
Quando Rondo is one of such musicians, but he claims promoters are afraid to book him because of Rondo’s associate’s suspected murder of King Von during a gunfight in November 2020.
Quando Rondo had a concert in Macon, Georgia, a few weeks after King Von’s death, but claimed the mayor of the state called to cancel it. Rumors have circulated on social media that Rondo canceled the concert because he was concerned about threats, but he insists on blaming the mayor.
“The mayor canceled my show, on my daughter’s life,” he proclaimed. “That’s facts, big bro. I ain’t canceling a show.”
Rondo wants to put the situation behind him as soon as possible. In 2021, his colleague Lul Timm was arrested on murder charges in connection with King Von’s death, but he was released on bail.
In a candid interview with Angela Yee, the Georgia native revealed his side of the incident, claiming that he didn’t realize it was King Von who was engaged in the incident until the next day. In May, Quando Rondo published his album Still Taking Risks, which he had been working on for a while.
