JAY-Z OFFICIALLY JOINS INSTAGRAM – BUT ONLY FOLLOWS ONE PERSON.

JAY-Z isn’t very active on social media. Roc Nation’s CEO has had a Twitter account since 2008, yet he’s only sent out 269 tweets in that time. Surprisingly, his most recent tweet was sent only two days ago, on October 31st, the day after he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“In my excitement, I failed to prize, and acknowledge JAZ-O, he was the hometown hero that made the dream tangible,” he said of his acceptance speech. “Thank you good man… ok let me lose this password for another year or so . Thank you all again, incredibly humbled by your love.”

However, it appears that JAY-Z fans may now look forward to (or at least hope for) some Instagram updates from the Hip Hop mogul. Hov is officially on Instagram as of Tuesday (November 2), and he only has one person following him: his wife Beyoncé.

With only one post, he has approximately 600,000 followers. Unsurprisingly, the photo promotes his new Netflix Western flick, The Harder They Fall. Two JAY-Z and Kid Cudi collaborations, as well as Conway The Machine and Jadakiss, are included on the film’s soundtrack.

Idris Elba, LaKeith Stanfield, Regina King, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, and Jonathan Majors are among the film’s all-star cast.

“When outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge,” the synopsis reads.

“Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally.”

The Harder They Fall was released in cinemas on October 22nd and will be available on Netflix on October 23rd (November 3). JAY-first Z’s Instagram post may be seen below.

Instagram will load in the frontend.
