Following his arrest in Atlanta, LIL BABY’s artist Dirty Tay denies shooting a toddler

Dirty Tay, a member of Lil Baby’s 4PF, was detained last week on suspicion of shooting a kid and his father.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that during a traffic check on Friday, August 19, police detained Dirty Tay, 24, (real name Kentavious Wright), who was then booked into the Fulton County Jail on a dozen offenses.

The accusations include three counts of committing crimes specified in Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act with the purpose to join or advance in a criminal street gang, aggravated assault, first-degree cruelty to minors, and criminal attempt to commit murder.

Police caught Dirty Tay’s girlfriend carrying a pistol they believe to be his. They both were taken into arrest. You may watch the body-worn camera footage of the arrest below.

A dad and his three-year-old kid were reportedly fired at on August 3 as they were leaving the Off the Hook barbershop in southwest Atlanta.

Police said that when the father and boy were traveling along Peters Street, a Kia made a U-turn and started to pursue them. At an intersection, the automobile drew up next to the passenger side, and several rounds were fired, hitting the youngster in the head.

Three 9mm round casings were discovered at the crime scene, and the father believed that five shots were fired before the suspect drove to a fire station. Hours after the incident, the youngster was taken to the hospital and was thought to be in stable condition.

In a post on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (August 24), Dirty Tay refuted claims that he was involved in the shooting. “I’m innocent the news is not always right don’t bash me because of allegations,” he added.

On Lil Baby’s 4PF label, the Atlanta rapper released two albums in 2020, Way Bigger on the Low and Too Turnt Up. His singles “Beast” and “Don’t Wanna Do It” both had over a million Spotify listens.
