The death of Hip Hop legend Craig Mack earlier this year came as a shock to many of his friends and fans in the music world. Little was known regarding his whereabouts in the years prior, with only an ominous clip of the rapper at The Overcomer Ministry where he gave up secular activities, dedicating his life to the church. The first artist signed to the iconic Bad Boy Records, Sean “Diddy” Combs famously contacted Mack in an attempt to get the rapper to join the highly successful Bad Boy Reunion Tour of 2017. Mack declined the offer, remaining steadfast in his beliefs. In that time, rumors began to circulate regarding The Overcomer Ministry and whether or not Mack and others were members of a cult.

In an effort to provide Craig Mack with his own platform to speak, longtime friend and former manager Alvin Toney collaborated with Erick Purvis and Vincent DiGregorio on a documentary chronicling the life of the Hip Hop pioneer. In the soon-to-be-released documentary, Mack not only sheds light on his early life and music career but also addresses the rumors regarding the cult, along with allegations of sexual misconduct by the ministry leader. In the accompanying clip released via VladTV, Craig Mack discusses the incident that made him leave the music industry altogether, where fearing for his life, he seriously contemplated murdering an unnamed record executive but had a sudden change of heart. Be sure to keep an eye an out for the Craig Mack Documentary slated for release soon.
